We offer luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation set in 3 acres of tranquil water gardens with ponds, waterfall and pagodas. The Lodge has a large comfy guest’s lounge with open fireplace and is a delightful mixture of the old and the new, having an old world charm and period elegance with modern comforts, ideal for that quiet refreshing time away.
The lodge has 3 very spacious ensuite bedrooms ( one with an adjoining twin bedded room suitable for family) All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, high quality bed linen and have a charm and peacefulness that will help you to relax and switch off from the world.

The garden:
set in 3 acres with 3 acres of well-established gardens including camellias, gardenias, rhododendrons, flowering cherry trees. The native ferns and flax are abundant in the sub-tropical water gardens with its ponds and water features. Where there is also an abundance of wild life, such as Pukeko, Rosellas, resident ducks, King Fisher and Quail and of course the delightful Tui.
The entrance to the lodge is alive with a variety of rose bushes and the fragrance of Wisteria and Bougainvillea.
Guests may relax in the pagoda that overlooks the largest pond or explore the terraced garden and stepped pathways.

The guest lounge:
The Guest’s Lounge is called the Keeping Room and is built to the design of a Nantucket New England ‘House- Keeping Room’ It features a large Inglenook fireplace , Linen-fold panel walls, Douglas Fir flooring and one ton Kauri beams!
Guest’s may enjoy DVD films, Sky TV, Dedicated laptop and Wi-Fi access, library and board games. Breakfast is served by the sunny bay windows.
There is also a family breakfast table to seat 8. Comfortable lounge suites and side buffet where tea and coffee is always available, allow guests to relax and enjoy the peaceful ambience of this unique room.

Breakfast area:
Guests can enjoy their healthy organic breakfast by the Sunny Bay windows in the guest’s spacious beamed lounge with compote of fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, cereals, multi grain toast, and homemade jams and marmalade with freshly squeezed orange juice from our own orchard.
A family table is also available for parents with children.
