The Factory offers luxury accommodation for up to 6 people in 1 party, in a wing of a 100 year old dairy factory. The Factory is completely self-contained with state of the art kitchen and dining facilities. There is a private courtyard with an outside spa , a path to the beach and many extras that come as part of your stay.

Each of the 3 bedrooms at The Factory has velvet curtains as well as an Italian King bed with Dreamwool Mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets. With quality furniture and fittings throughout, The Factory has a sumptuous feel but is still family friendly ensuring everyone is catered for. Peace and privacy is guaranteed with only ever 1 party in the guest wing at a time.

Stunning Location.

The Factory is on the beachfront at Hapuku 10 minutes north of beautiful Kaikoura. Here you can stroll along the secluded Hapuku Beach where you regularly see dolphins surfing in the waves and often spot seals or even whales from the shore. The sunny courtyard looks out on to the spectacular snow-clad mountains of the Kaikoura range and you are surrounded by the sound of native birds (and the occasional train).

Kaikoura Activities

Just 10 minutes from The Factory is any number of wonderful shops, restaurants and unique activities. You can watch whales from the sea or air, view and even swim with dolphins, seals and albatross, see baby seals playing in a waterfall, take a wilderness walk, sky-dive, ride quad bikes, go on hunting or fishing safaris, go kayaking or surfing, play golf, go river rafting, ride horses or llamas, visit a lavendar farm, view the night sky or go on a Maori tour. Kaikoura has amazing experiences most of which are completely unique to this wonderful area.
