Thank you for a great stay. Bev is fantastic so very helpful. Great spot for swimming,
But the bed is an issue unless you are very tall. I needed a stool to stand on to get into the bed at night.
We will return.

thicker curtains on entrance and bedroom ranch sliders would have been nice to provide better privacy as we were in villa No. 2 in the middle and people in the other villas could see in going to theirs.
Apart from that great and would stop again, Caretaker Bev is amazing and really looks after you.
Don't remember reading that there was no swimming in the sea directly in front of the villas, would have been nice to know but it wouldn't stop me using it again. Altogether a great place to kick back and relax, love to hear the sound of the waves on the reef !!

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay, thank you. There was plenty to see, do, eat out, or to do as little, or ignore life in general to one's heart's content. The secret weapon at this resort is your tiny, ever so obliging,charming, knowlegeable, so welcoming, totally unruffable, generous,hardworking, conscientious, unobtrusive Beverly. My husband & I were most impressed with her efforts to truly make all things as perfect for us as was in her earthly powers! Thank you again, Beverly. We hope to visit again with our extended family.

The owner Maria kindly offered a late check out on departure which was much appreciated.

I had confidence in staying at Te Ava Villas right from the start. Maria, the owner, was very prompt with her response to my queries. Beverley who looks after the Villas on site was always helpful and went out of her way to check that we were ok. She was superb. The facilities were excellent - extras in the kitchenette not mentioned were a good sized fridge and cooking elements. The internet was the only frustrating aspect -although reception is not good in Rarotonga. Although you can't swim directly in front of the villas which are right on the beachfront, it is extremely quiet and swimming is only a few metres away. A wonderful tranquil spot with lots to do - we will be back.

Beautiful location, villa was as pictured and well stocked with everything required to make a cuppa or have a cold drink. Very clean and well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. Bev was a wonderful host and waited up until the late hour for our arrival and showed us around, very friendly and helpful. Marie the owner of the property through homeforhire made the booking and communication very easy and also recommended a shuttle service to contact so all was organised before leaving home. Couldn't have asked for more really. Only few things to mention was that there was a mention in the write up of the property that there was a dvd library but we couldn't find anything, and that although the view of the ocean and where the villa sat was perfect we couldn't actually swim directly out in front of the property because that part of the sea was unsafe, so that was a bit of a shame. Otherwise overall a perfect holiday in a perfect, romantic location. Thank you so much Bev and Marie for everything. Wonderful!!

Beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings, indoors and outside. Excellent facilities available. Easy access to road and beach and within walking distance of cafes, supermarket and great snorkelling sites.

Absolute Beachfront
Te Ava Villas are set right on the lagoon in Avaavaroa on the south side of Rarotonga. The white sandy beach is private and is right on your door step where you are indulged with panoramic and sweeping views all along the Titikaveka Lagoon and coastline.

Luxuriously Furnished
Each Villa is well fitted out with a king bed, high quality linen, 40" LCD TV and DVD library, and a stereo with radio, CD and iPod dock. The Villas are spacious and open plan with a kitchen and island bar with bar stools, 3 piece lounge suite, as well as ceiling fan and various lighting options. The quality furnishing continues outside with table and chairs on your balcony from which you can have a relaxing drink. For those wanting to catch some sun each Villa has two sunloungers for your use.

The Villas are well suited for a couple wanting to escape to our wonderful Pacific Island for a relaxing holiday. Similarly if you are travelling with friends or visiting for a wedding why not each book a Villa so you can enjoy your own private Villa and also each others company.

The Surrounding Area
Wigmores Superstore is a 10 minute stroll down the road and is open 7 days a week and sells all that you will need from fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and meat, wine and beer, as well as cooked local foods. Next store is a takeaway. CocoLatte is just opposite and is a great place for breakfast, or a coffee and sweet treat. Everything else on Rarotonga is no more than a 15 minute drive.
The Yellow Hibiscus restaurant at Palm Grove is a 10min walk and Vaima Restaurant an extra 5min walk along the beach and has beachfront dining. Go early and enjoy a cocktail on the beach while the sun is setting.

Normal Check In is 2,00pm and normal Check Out time is 10.00am. Should you wish to request an early check in or a late check out we will do our best to accommodate this for an extra charge subject to other bookings. Please ensure you make your request by email at the time of booking. Please also remember that many flights to Rarotonga cross over the date line and hence arrive a day before so please check you flights.
