The front door keypad was awkward to use. Took us a while to get in and had difficulty locking it after that. We appreciated the small touches. Use of pantry items was appreciated. Written instructions for washing machine and drier would be helpful as not very intuitive. Lovely home and location thank you.

It's an utterly delightful accommodation. We came for ski holiday but it may as well be a beautiful time if we would have to spend few days staying home for everything is geared to providing perfect holiday.
The house is facing the lake surrounded with gorgeous snow caped mountains. This view of course, is its “piece de la resistance”, so to speak, and the home replete with everything one would possibly need. Truly, everyday of our staying started with words 'Another day in paradise' when greeting each other. The place has good atmosphere, well-furnished and equipped with all modern amenities. Wake up to the birds singing and sing loudly taking most of the offered privacy of the house, enjoy majestic panoramic vistas from the balcony, take a pleasant stroll in the lovely surroundings, all work together to seduce you with serenity and little touches of magic.
Perfect place of destination if you are a group or family looking to get away from it all, de-stress and enjoy the wonderful Wanaka. We will definitely come again

The only negative was that the trash was full when we arrived so we had to put a bunch of trash in the garage.

The property could use a hair drier as they are bulky to travel with. Other than that the property is fantastic and we will be back without a doubt.

Overall Impression
This luxury 400sqm+ holiday home has been set up with attention to detail after many years experience of hiring holiday homes in both Wanaka and Queenstown. We have learnt from our experiences of uncomfortable beds, rickety furniture, and poor facilities. Our aim is to provide a holiday of such luxury that we are sure you will return to it when you next choose to holiday in Wanaka. Many of our guests are regular returners each year for that very reason.
We also think we boast possibly the best views available in Wanaka.

Main Level Living
Large main living area is open plan design with kitchen and dining room. Large gas fire, leather lounges and chairs, day bed, quality 10 seat timber dining table with leather chairs. Sonos system to living areas and outside. Large glass doors open out to the 10m x 4m deck with large outdoor lounge setting and Weber gas BBQ with reticulated gas. Did we mention the views?

Sonos Sound System
We now have a Sonos sound system for you to use and enjoy during your stay. Either play music from your own iPhone/Ipod by downloading the App (remember free wifi) or simply use the wall mounted pad to play music from the free Pandora account. Music can be played in the living room, outside under the patio, or both!

Kitchen, Scullery and Courtyard
A quality kitchen with all of the quality appliances you could ever need, including double ovens. Apart from the basics, there is a Nespresso machine, an espresso machine, a blender (for mixing of cocktails!) and double drawer dishwasher. The island bench is finished with granite top, and a breakfast bar with seating for 4. Also a scullery with drinks fridge, Microwave, additional drawer dishwasher and sink.
Additionally, there is a sheltered courtyard off the kitchen and living for those days when the prevailing Norwester just proves too much for you! Also ideal for soaking up morning sun with your breakfast and coffee.

Theatre Room
Separate theatre room with 65" LED TV, Sky HD, Netflix, Surround Sound system and Blue Ray DVD player. Plenty of comfortable seating, and still a great view to the lake and mountains.

Upstairs Main Bedroom 1
The large main bedroom upstairs has a top of range ensemble King bed with King size duck down duvet and views to the lake and Treble Cone Ski field. Sleep with the curtains open and wake up to the brilliant view. Wall mounted 46" LCD TV with SkyHD, Netflix and DVD player in room, with ensuite bathroom with double head (standard and rain) shower, heated towel rails, underfloor heating, and modern walk in wardrobe.

Downstairs Main Bedroom 2
The second main bedroom downstairs also looks out the tremendous lake and mountain views, has a comfortable ensemble queen bed with King size duck down duvet. It too has ensuite bathroom with shower and underfloor heating. Sit out on your own private patio and take in the sunshine!

Main Level Queen Bedroom 3
The third queen bedroom has a comfortable ensemble queen bed with King size duck down duvet, and modular wardrobe. Shares the killer views as bed 1 and 2. Access directly to outside through the glass doors.

Main Level Queen Bedroom 4
The fourth queen bedroom is just as the 3rd bedroom. Need I say the same killer views?

Main Level Twin Bedroom 5
The 5th bedroom has 2 single beds with duck down duvets.

Upstairs Living/Rumpus
Upstairs living area/rumpus with 42" plasma TV with Blu-ray DVD player with surround sound and xBox 360 for the kids (bring your own games but 2 controllers provided). Great for getting the kids out of your hair when you want to wind down with a Central Otago Pinot downstairs! There are also 2 additional single beds here. There will be arguments between the kids as to who gets to stay there!

Bathrooms
One main bathroom and 2 ensuite bathrooms, all with underfloor heating. Main bathroom has shower and bath, ensuites have showers (total 3 showers, one bath). 3 toilets in total, 1 separate, 1 each in the ensuites. Heated towel rails in all 3 bathrooms.

Garage/Parking
Extra large double garage (who likes getting in and out of their car to determine if you're in?) as well as additional carport next to garage.

Drying Room
Purpose built facility for drying ski gear/boots overnight. Two wall mounted commercial boot and glove dryers with hanging space for your ski gear. Located in the double remote control garage for convenience at the end of a days skiing!

Eating Out
Ardmore and Dunmore Streets have numerous cafes and restaurants. We would recommend Tango's Cafe for a light lunch, and Relishes Cafe for lunch or dinner. Try Sassonoki's for great Japanese eat-in or takeaway, and Sagun Cafe has the best curry-in-a-hurry going around.

Grocery Shopping
There is a New World Supermarket in town that covers all of the main staple items, but if you want some good quality groceries and meat, try the Mediterranean Delicatessen opposite THE petrol station and Wanaka Butcher on Reece Crescent.

Golf
2 sets of golf clubs in the garage available for your use. They are not the latest, but you won't be playing in the Ryder cup either! Wanaka Golf Club is worth the effort for the views themselves.
