Papa Mauris was an excellent home. Perfect for our family. Very clean, well stocked with all we needed. Quiet & extremely peaceful. Great location. We were perfectly happy with it. Would come again. Loved it. No adults at all.

Very nice, relaxing place to stay and close to most of the required facilities.
The only piece of equipment that was not functioning was the barbeque which would have been nice, but we were fine without it.
The hot water in the shower could do with sorting out also as it fluctuated a lot and was difficult to get started. Hot water was fine for the other outlets though.
We pre-ordered bicycles and found them brilliant to get around on, but just walked down to the superb beach.
Lovely spot and would definitely stay again!!

The property was very clean and in excellent condition. It was very private and set in delightful surroundings. The owner very kindly came and picked up our bags from a house on the main road and transferred them to the property for us. The location as indicated on the website map was a bit inaccurate. Maybe an additional note to follow the sign to Coconut Haven then follow the road up toward the mountain to the second house. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

We had a brilliant stay at Papa Mauri's Place - it had everything you want on a holiday - modern, spacious with a great kitchen, comfortable beds and a big verandah. The property is way back off the road so it's a really private location and besides the occasional rooster it's really quiet. Set on a several acres it's beautiful looking back up to the mountains, palm trees and forest. It was a quick stroll down to some of Rarotonga's best beaches and we loved the proximity to Wigmore's store which has everything you need. Thanks heaps, we'll be back. Mark

A 2 bedroom modern brick house, located in Vaimaanga on the beautiful southside of Rarotonga. The house is fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, inside living/dining area and outside deck with table & chairs. It is tiled throughout, including the covered deck area and has a clothesline and outdoor shower.

Vaimaanga Beach
Only a few minutes walk to the best white sandy beach on the island. Enjoy snorkelling in the crystal turquoise water, lax out with a good book or take a nice long stroll along the beach and watch the sunset.

The main bedroom has a queen bed, 2 sidetables with draws and a lamp on each. It also has a set of drawers and mirror and a closet with extra pillows, duvets, blanket and a fan.

Lounge & hall closet
There is a comfy sofabed in the lounge, a bean bag, big TV with a blueray home theatre system that plays dvds, movies in avi format from usb sticks, music, shows photos and has an ipod dock
There is also a bookshelf with books that you are welcome to read, and in the hall closet there is a plastic tub of games that you are also welcome to use. Along with sheets, towels and blankets.

The dining area can seat 6 people comfortably for a nice dinner. There are placemats in the kitchen draws that you can use.
