Port Douglas and the surrounding region have many attractions. Dive or snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef, hot air ballon over the Atherton Tablelands. Visit the Daintree Rainforest or Cape Tribulation. Take the Sky rail or scenic train to Kuranda Village. You can have ‘Breakfast with the Birds’ at the Rainforest Habitat. Play golf at any one of three golf courses. Go white water rafting and parasailing, or just go fishing for the big one.

Port Douglas is 60 kilometres north of Cairns along the Captain Cook Highway. Turn right off the Captain Cook Highway into Port Douglas Road. Turn right into Old Port Road, and then right into Nautilus Street, Nimrod Resort Apartments are on the left hand side.
