Q: Can we have our wedding at the property?
A: Yes - but a NZD150 service fee is levied. A noise curfew is set at 10pm. We have great neighbours and we wish to keep it that way.

Q: Is Natura Beach Villa 2 different to Natura Beach Villa?
A: Yes - Natura Beach Villa 2 or NBV2 is a brand new three bedroom property located next to the original Natura Beach Villa (NBV). NBV sleeps 10 guests. NBV2 sleeps 6 guests.

Q: How far is NBV from NBV2?
A: Both houses occupy the same beachfront property and are 6 meters apart from each other - making it a perfect place for a group of 16 guests.

Q: Are there any restaurants nearby?
A: Yes - the Yellow Hibiscus Restaurant is opposite the road; Vaima Restaurant & Coco Latte Cafe & Wigmores Takeaway is located 500-700m down the road.

Q: We are looking for other beach places nearby, can you recommend any?
A: Yes - review this website and look at all other holiday homes in the 'Vaimaanga' area - they will be nearby and of a good standard.

Q: Is the beach sandy?
A: Yes - Vaimaanga arguably has the best beach on Rarotonga.

Q: Is the lagoon good & safe for swimming?
A: Yes - Vaimaanga lagoon is arguably the best on Rarotonga. Deep, sandy with large coral heads perfect for snorkelling.

Q: Should I bring food with us to Rarotonga?
A: No need - most food prices are lower in the Cook Islands. Foods that have to be airfreighted in (dairy, gourmet fancy food) are about 15-20% more expensive than Auckland. Foods that are shipped in (non-perishable food) is priced lower than Auckland (standard prices - not including special sales).

Q: Is dutyfree cheaper in Rarotonga?
A: Yes - cartons of cigarettes (10 pkts) are NZD18. Spirits are 15-20% cheaper than dutyfree in Auckland. Air New Zealand & Virgin Australia & Jetstar & Air Tahiti flight attendants buy their dutyfree from Rarotonga Airport (they are the worlds smartest dutyfree shoppers).

Loved our time in Rarotonga, and we would definitely stay at the Natura Beach Villa 2 again. Its a spacious, clean, modern villa, and having the two bathrooms, laundry & aircon in each bedroom was fantastic! Your basically right on the beach front, and its a beautiful & quiet beach which I felt comfortable enough to allow my 12 & 14 yr old kids to snorkel & kayak unsupervised. And having your own private pool is also great. We had other family members staying elsewhere on the Island, and we were able to invite everyone around for a swim & BBQ - plenty of indoor & outdoor tables, chairs, etc... And everyone commented on how nice the place was.
Great service from the staff. The transfer drivers were friendly, and prompt. Linen & towels replaced every few days. We phoned and left a message to request another blanket, and was delivered that afternoon. I would recommend this property to my friends & family.

Could not have asked for a more perfect location or property for our stay. Lovely pool, spectacular beach and the best snorkelling right on our doorstep. Photo's are a true reflection of what was on offer. Would highly recommend this property.

Location and Driving:
Our lagoon is safe for swimming and snorkeling as we are located away from the main channels (opening in reefs) that cause underwater rips. The lagoon is sandy with large coral heads ideal for snorkelling. A car is a wise choice to getting about Rarotonga which is 33kms around - enabling you to visit sites of interest, go shopping with ease, drive to Restaurants and more. If you have a Singapore & NZ license - it will be easy to transfer over to a Cook Islands license.

Weddings:
We allow weddings at the beach house and apply a surcharge NZD150 for additional cleaning. We would also expect to rent the house out at full occupancy (10 people) over the dates required.
