The barn conversions at La Longère Rose were designed by a local architect to provide luxurious accommodation for the discerning holiday-maker seeking a peaceful break away-from-it-all, but just near enough to reality to keep the time spent shopping and on sightseeing trips to a minimum.
Separate bathroom and a shower room supplied with fluffy towels, hair dryers and ample mirrors. Three bedrooms, a double, triple and a double+single, have large comfy beds, wardrobes, dressing tables, cooling ceiling fans and mosquito screens.

Inside living space
The living space includes a brand-new fully fitted integrated kitchen; modern open-plan lounge/dining room with satellite TV and DVD player whilst outside is a private terrace with gas-fired barbecue, table and chairs. In short everything necessary to achieve four-star qualification from the French Tourist Authorities.

The Gardens
In the garden there is an 11.5m x 4.5m swimming pool; a games room with pool & table tennis tables, childrens play area and a boules piste.
Somewhere in the 5 acre grounds there must be a place for you, be it relaxing under the shade of an old Apple tree, sitting by the glistening Trout stream or playing some mad game of rounders in the heat of the sun.

Further Afield
Further afield there are endless things to do, depending on your desired activity level, from gentle evening walks through the lanes, cycle rides along peaceful by-ways, golfing, water sports, go-karting and so on.
The historic towns of Melle, Niort, Poitiers, Cognac, Angouleme and La Rochelle are all nearby.
Tourist attractions include Vallée des Singes, Zoodysee, Futoroscope, Tumulus de Beugnon and the Aquarium at La Rochelle.
Restaurants vary from the local La Mine D'Or, Le Sporting and Les Glycines, to others further afield.
