Heliconia Luxury Beachfront Villa

Heliconia Villa is unique on the island of Rarotonga in that it is a stand alone luxury Villa that offers privacy, luxury and space that no other offers. Built in the style of a Polynesian Pavilion Heliconia offer all that one would want on a luxury tropical holiday or honeymoon.

A special place to stay

When you walk through the entrance courtyard gate you know you are somewhere special as you see the hight thatched Polynesian roof of your villa. Surrounded by tropical gardens as you approach the villa you catch a glimpse of the outside bath as you pass beautiful red and yellow Heliconias after which the property is named. On walking through the entrance door a wonderful sense of serenity is overtaken by the beauty of the torquise colours of the lagoon that jump through the large glass front doors. There is no sense of being cramped here in this large 80 square metre villa with its tall stained timber cathedral ceilings and high walls with glass allowing a flood of natural light. The centre piece of the Villa is the Kind bed covered with a coloured Tivaevae which you pass to go out to the generous deck ond down the full length steps to the soft coral sands of the pearl white beach......at your doorstep.

Very traditional, very modern.

While built in the style of a Polynesian Villa, Heliconia has many modern luxury features that make it a very comfortable and romantic place to be. Including; Richly oiled Mahogany floors, a unique tropical shell chandelier, silk paintings, modern kitchenette, a large luxury bathroom for two leading to an outside under the stars pebble bath, dining for four, super king bed, lounge and home theatre, very large nautical deck with oversize stainless gourmand barbecue and teak outdoor furniture, double sea kayak, snorkeling equipment and two outside dump showers.

Titikavaka....the prettiest part of the island

Heliconia Villa is situated within a marine reserve on the prettiest beach on the outskirts of the village of Titikavaka on the south western corner of the island of Rarotonga. It is here that the lagoon is at its largest with the waves of the sea breaking on the reef in the distance. Titikavaka is quickly being recognised as the area of choice for not only its natural attributes but also for its activities and local restaurants. Heliconia is within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants and cafes' including, the Maire Nui Botanical Gardens Cafe, Paw Paw Patch, Sails, etc etc Enjoy Rarotonga's prettiest area, enjoy Rarotonga's special place....HELICONIA VILLA.
