The Harbour Tide Inn in Blacks Harbour was built in 1959 for the daughter of the then President of Connors Brothers (Brunswick Brand) sea food products. It became a Bed & Breakfast in 2001 and is owned and operated by Wanda & Alex from Saint John and Halifax respectively. We are open 12 months a year for bed, breakfast, good times & friends.

Daytrip Package # 1
Blacks Harbour, Beaver Harbour and St. George area. (this will be your most relaxed day. Sleep in, lay around and get oriented for your tours and visits)
Blacks Harbour ~ is home to the World’s Largest Sardine Industry .
This Day Includes: visit to Pea Point Lighthouse, low tide beachcombing, walking on the ocean floor, drive through the working fishing village at Beaver Harbour, visit to Day Adventure Centre in St. George, a visit to the Gorge, dam, covered bridge and 2 waterfalls, on the Macquedavic River.
10 minutes to the worlds first "Fish Ladder", in St. George, NB.
Options - for your day in our immediate area
Visit Pea Point Island and walk on the ocean floor. (2 minutes to the access point) See volcanic rock, glacial carved rockfaces and a panoramic view of Passamaquoddy Bay.
Visit the St. George Day Adventure Centre (various activities daily) (10 minutes away)
Play in the sand or wade/swim in the Bay at New River Beach (15 minutes away)
See the beautiful Gorge at St. George and the World's 1ST fish ladder.
Whale Watching.
Geo-Caching (14 or more caches within 10 miles of our Inn)

Daytrip Package # 2 - Grand Manan Island - bring your camera
This all day tour requires appropriate dress. (we suggest jacket or sweater, hat, shades, sun-block, binoculars)
1.5 hours by ferry. Departs both shores every 2 hours in season. Toll to the island - Free. Return from the island $10.90/person, cars $31.90 (2008)
Grand Manan is known for it’s natural habitat.
Most popular activities are, Whale watching, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, bird watching, and there is a Museum and an Art Gallery at Castalia.

Daytrip Package # 3 - Ferry to Deer Island, and Campobello - (8-12 hr day)
Daytrip full tour available June-September (Closing date dependant on ferry traffic)
Consists of; drive from Blacks Harbour to Back Bay and L’Etete through St. George (20 min.), free ferry to Deer Island (leaves every half hour), (20 min.), drive across Deer Island on your own time, toll ferry (car & driver $16.;½ hour) to Campobello, tour of Campobello on your own time, drive across International bridge to Lubec Maine, then visit to Eastport (optional), return via either route 1 to Calais, ME. and St.Stephen, NB & return to Blacks Harbour. OR Return from Eastport by ferry to Deer island and home in reverse order of the directions above.
A customized route map with directions will be provided at your request.
You will need passports for this Daytrip if returning via the USA. As of 2009, Passports are required for all border crossings.
