Mad Dog Riverboarding operates on the Kawarau River in the action-adventure capital of the world, Queenstown, New Zealand.
In our Original Trip, riverboard your way down grade 2-3 rapids followed by a play on our exclusive jet ski, rock jumps, swing and slide, all followed by a hot shower and a trip to the Goldfields Cafe.

The Extreme. This ones for those with a passion for white water, this trip cover the river twice meaning 12km of Rapids!
Family Fun Trips. Take a spin in the Goldfields Jet Boat, followed by a float down the calm waters of the lower Kawarau and a play in our aquatic park.
River Boarding is best suited for clients that enjoy water sports and have a reasonable swimming ability. It is the most personally challenging and action packed water activity in New Zealand.
Allow 4 ½ hours, about 1-1½ hours will be spent in the river.
