There is good access to all the wonderful towns of the Huon Valley including Gordon, Egg and Bacon Bay,Deep Creek, Cygnet, Huonville, Franklin, Dover to the south and Kingston with its excellent shopping Hobart and the airport to the north.

A lovely romantic setting to "pop the question" or a honeymoon after the wedding. Perfect for weddings at Peppermint Cove and an easy drive from Hobart city or the airport. Children are welcome at Wavestation and they have lots of places to play watched by their parents. They can sit on the veranda and draw at the outdoor table or have their own space in the gazebo. Native birds live in the forest of trees to the south and visit the garden mainly in the early morning or the evening. Walks or runs along The Esplanade are easy and there is lots to see. Boats are launched from the Middleton boat ramp, the flotilla of boats is constantly passing by on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Wavestation is the perfect place for your honeymoon. We can arrange a special package with champagne on arrival, a special breakfast and hamper so your first days are hassle free. You can arrange a special dinner on your arrival or the next day. This is the perfect place for two couples to enjoy a holiday in Southern Tasmania. Bring your bikes, kayaks or boat. There is a jetty at Middleton or at Gordon.
