Wanaka Cottage
Surrounded by mountain views this gorgeous new 2-bedroomed self-contained cottage has been built and furnished with sumptuousness and character in mind. The master bedroom features a Super King oak sleigh bed and luxurious linens - timber shutters open into the vaulted ceiling over the living and dining areas with its open log fire. The second bedroom can either be a Twin or a Super King. The classic tiled bathroom has an extravagant French Tub with ceiling rose shower.
Throughout the property you will find all the conveniences you would expect in a modern home, including: Sky TV, DVD,CD andiPod docking station, fully equipped kitchen, full laundry, under floor heating, heaters, electric blankets, telephone and free wireless internet. Outside a patio, with seating, BBQ and a cedar hot tub, captures the all day sun. Children's toys, video's, DVD's, porta cot and Mountain Buggy are all available on request.
The Cottage is located on the edge of 20 acres of parkland just off the Cardrona Valley Road - only a 2-minute drive from the lakefront and town centre. 100m away is an excellent espresso, breakfast and lunch cafe, and 200m away are two superb evening dining restaurants.
This gorgeous, fully-equipped cottage is ideal for couples, honeymoons and families - and a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.

My wife and I and our two sons (23 & 19)
stayed two nights in the Wanaka Cottage
and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is
conveniently located just outside of
Wanaka with spectacular views of the
mountains. You could walk to town, but
it is more likely a drive. There is a
wonderful (hidden from view) cafe less
than 100m away however. The cottage is
nearly new and was spotless with high
end furnishings and fixtures throughout.
It was the nicest place we stayed on
our two week tour of the South Island
and we made a point of staying in nice
places. We hope to be back for a longer
stay sometime (soon).

Wow, what a stunning property! For someone a little tired of hotel rooms
this was the perfect tonic. An absolutely stunning property that made
you feel as if you were right out in the countryside despite being just a
minute or so from town by car. Relaxing in the spa after a hard day of
snowboarding, with the views over the mountains and the birds chirping, was
fantastic. Loved the feeling of being at home while on holidays and that view
each morning from the loft bedroom --- ahh, I miss it!
