The stay was amazing and the house/ cleaner was lovely. The o my down side was the roosters crowing at 3am and 5am onwards outside the bedroom windows.

The property was much better than the web site, beautifully decorated everything you need and more. Love big bowl of fruit waiting water fruit juice and milk in the fridge. The house was spotless, and the views amazing. Bev the house manager was very good at her job. Great help and wonderful personality. Had a wonderful week at Villa Maria.

Wonderful property. Met at property by manager to arrange access so nice and easy. Also met the owner Maria which was a pleasure. No problems or issues with this beautiful property. Everything was exactly as shown on website and in fact better in person. Lovely and clean and everything you could require at hand. Thank you to Maria for sharing your beautiful property with us. I hope to come and stay again some time.

Villa Maria is a beautiful house in a fantastic spot. Very easy to spend time in - we will likely return. We think it would be helpful if there were more linens (hand towels, towels, tea towels, etc) and soap provided with the house - but otherwise we rate the property highly.

Amazing house, pictures don't do it justice at all! Sheer dapes make sleep in's difficult and the roosters make it impossible....but who would want to waste a moment in paradise anyway! We just loved it and are already planning our next trip!

Intro

This property is not a holiday home but a true home away from home. Both floors have stunning panoramic views of Muri Lagoon and its Motus (little islands) from almost every room including all bedrooms. The two downstairs bedrooms include a king size bed, each with their own ensuite. There is a separate lounge and kitchenette.

Children:

We have a 'no children under 16' policy due to unfenced pool and the house being on the hillside.

Upstairs

Walk up the circular internal staircase to the top level where bifolds, a curved glass panelled window seat and louvres provide more spectacular views of Muri and the lagoon.

The window seat and lounge is perfect for watching the lagoon activities from the regatta, the kitesurfers when the wind is blowing a gale to the gentle waves rolling onto the reef when the seas are calm.

If you wish to entertain this is not a problem with a large and spacious kitchen which opens onto the outside deck, with additional serving areas to the internal dining table.

The master bedroom with ensuite is located on this floor and includes a bath ideal for soaking in for further relaxation.

On those hot days when you wish to cool off there is no need to walk the 5 minutes to the beach as there is a pool built into the upstairs deck.

Occupancy

The house provides for a couple to enjoy or alternatively 3 couples with each able to have ample space and privacy, as well as room for socialising.

Activities, Dining and Shopping

Almost all activities available on the island can be found at or near the bottom of the road area including diving, fishing tours, 4 wheel drive adventure tours and resort island nights.

Within 5 minutes walk there are numerous restaurants catering for all budgets and offering a variety of selections to chose from. However having a BBQ on the deck or a home cooked mean and enjoying the privacy and quietness of the hillside setting is also highly recommended.

Local shops sell most basic items and daily necessities. There is also a pharmacy and several local arts and craft shops within walking distance.

Extra Services

The house will be cleaned every fourth day. Should you require extra cleaning services or assistance from a maid this can be arranged at an extra cost of $100 per day.

Early Check In/Late Check out

Our standard check in times are 1.00pm check in and 10.00am check out. For arrivals and departures outside of these times we reserve the right to charge an early check in and/or late check out charge of up to a one nights accomodation. We appreciate that flights to and from Rarotonga do not always fall within these standard times and depending on other bookings and the actual flight arrival and departure times will look to accomodate guests flight arrangements. Where a early check in or check out charge is levied this will be notified at the time the booking is made.
