We offer as a choice for breakfast raw smoothies made from local fruits and vegs, local coconuts, home made almond milk and herbs from my garden.
AS well as traditonal massages being available we offer a unique modality done with pure essential therapeutic oils done by kathy who is qualifed to perform this- It is called Egyptian Emotional Clearing .What better environment to have this performed than in peaceful Bali ! Not offered anywhere else in Bali . Our water is from under the volcanic rock and so has no chlorine. The drinking and cooking water is filtered by a 3 stage process. We also have a Chanson tap that separates the ph and acid in the water giving quality high ph balanced water to drink. We have this in our fridge to drink and for ice on tap at your convenience! WE can arrange for in house massages at your cost but stay a minimum of 3 nights and you both get a free one! Read below about a unique experience with essential oils that Kathy offers . Our bedrooms
Each bedroom has a king size bed with quality bedding. Both look out onto our beautiful garden that we are so proud of. It is maintained by our gardener. Each has its own large private ensuite which is Balinese style with a garden that is open to the sky.So taking a shower is like being in the outdoors but you are completely in private.!

A Home Away from Home in Paradise !
We look forward to having you stay . Although the villa is also our home we extend to you the chance to enjoy personal hospitality not available in larger hotels. Our staff are on hand to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable .Kathy is from NZ And Gary from Australia so you will see some subtle influences. Even the villa name Katarina is Maori meaning Kathy. Kathy is a retired teacher and flying is her hobby.. She also spent 5 yrs on community radio. Gary is an electrician commuting to work in Australia. We support an extended Balinese family including our staff which is our reason for opening up our home to paying guests. In Australia we ran a successful B & B for 4 years. We have travelled the world and enjoy meeting people, so look forward to meeting you too!
We enjoy many kinds of music but country music is a specialty and in particular from NZ You are welcome to play from our collection.either straight from our iTunes or from the CDs .

A bit more about our villa
You can choose to book one room only or book the 2 rooms and bring yr friends to share the experience .Sorry we do not cater for children nor do we have single beds.
Both are ground floor with easy access to dining areas which can be inside or outside whatever you choose!.
Look out for our feature coming soon -a rockpool outside bath made to fit 2 people. once completed it wil lbe posted up here .
WE have comfortable lounger to laze by the pool or hang out under the shady pavilion.
Climb the inside stairs for views of the ocean at the front that can be viewed from our upstairs balcony and rice paddy and coconut trees to the rear.
Sorry, but although we have the internet the reception is not always he best or always reliable so we cannot offer this .But if it is urgent and there is a signal you are welcome to use our dongle or we can take you to a local shop where WIFI rates are very very cheap. The problem is out of our control but we are working on it. After all, this is Bali ! Otherwise if you travel into nearby Candii dasa for a meal they generally have free wifi .

East Bali is an emerging destination for the more discerning visitor with more natural attractions than any other part of Bali – dramatic scenery, dozens of beaches and coral reefs, WW2 shipwrecks for diving and snorkelling, ancient sites, a unique original village, tropical forests, beautiful rice terraces, royal palaces, trekking, quiet roads – and dominating the Regency is the brooding presence of Bali’s highest and most sacred volcano, the towering Mt Agung. The pace of life is slower here.
If you prefer to eat out, not too far away is Candidasa where our driver can take you to restaurants with excellent food at reasonable prices.
Not too far away is the beautiful secluded White Sandy Beach and even closer is a chocolate factory ! They make soap also and we proudly have it for you in your guest bathroom to try.
