Peaceful setting on rural block. Close to Oxford for shopsand restaurants. Golf, hiking, biking, fishing close by.
The cottage is close to Oxford village which has shopping, restaurants, Jo Seagers Cooking School and craft and farmers markets at weekends. It is close to the mountains where biking, hiking, fishing and skiing is available. Other attractions are jet boating in local river, golf course, horse treking, local dairy farm tour. It has a country garden and peaceful surroundings.

The cottage

The cottage has 3 comfortable bedrooms with an open plan living, dining area and large kitchen with all amenities. It opens out onto a patio with wonderful views of countryside and mountains. Kitchen has full amenities. You can either cook your own meals or arrange to have them at the main house next door with prior arrangement. All linen and towels are supplied.

Locality

The cottage is approx 2 kms from oxford Village which is well known for Jo Seagers Cook School and Cafe. other restaurants or takeaways available, craft shops, farmers market at weekends. There are walsk around the village also.

Also close by is hiking or mountain biking in local mountains, swimming at Ashley Gorge in summer, fishing in near-by rivers, golf course, jet boating in Waimakariri River, horse trekking, skiing (5 ski fields within 55 mins in season. Tour of local dairy farm available during milking.
