Tuarai Nui Studio - Reviewed by Jo from New Zealand in August 2016. Thank you again Tony - we had a wonderful stay. It is a lovely studio on the best beach! It would be good to have a compendium with info about the property and the area such as; what to do with the rubbish and recycling, stations to get drink water, favorite restaurants, snorkeling spots, number to call if we had issues etc. If this was something that you were interested in doing, we'd be happy to help :)
Many thanks, and we will be returning again next year.

Tuarai Nui Studio - Reviewed by lisz from New Zealand in June 2014. Delightful studio, loved the privacy and aspect, we could walk straight down to the lagoon, which had the best snorkelling in the area i believe. Our friends stayed in resorts, which cost them more and had less freedom with guests walking past their doors, noise etc. I highly recommend this studio. Rating: 5.0

Tuarai Nui Studio - Reviewed by Gallagher from New Zealand in September 2013. Absolutely loved the property. Found it a bit dark but that is because of it being under trees. Hence marking it a 4 in a couple of comments.
Just a minor thing but maybe if ceiling was painted white may reflect more light. Take this as constructive criticism. We would certainly stay again. Rating: 4.8

Tuarai Nui Studio - Reviewed by Alf from New Zealand in July 2014. We stayed for a month and really enjoyed ourselves. Excellent all-tide swimming and a beautiful quiet beachfront setting well away from the road and a short walk to the Aroa Beach Inn where we enjoyed sumptuous Tuesday and Saturday BBQs. Our only concern was that the fridge thermostat stopped functioning but we've no doubt that Tony will fix this ASAP. He was really helpful when it came to transporting us and our bicycle boxes to the airport on our departure. All round a great experience. Thoroughly recommend it. Rating: 4.8

Tuarai Nui Studio - Reviewed by Heather from New Zealand in August 2013. Thank you, we had such a fantastic time at your property. Everything was as expected/exceptional.
I have rated you a 4 with the question 'Did the property have all the equipment/furnishings as advertised on the Home for Hire website and were they functioning?' as we felt that a bigger tv would be great, for when relaxing after a day out. We tried to watch a dvd and the tv was to small to see, also a stereo would have been handy.
Other than that, we found, and it is only our own opinion. We loved the kayaks and especially our 3 legged doggie, she was gorgeous.
It is a shame to be back in New Zealand now, and we will thoroughly recommend you to people that we know. At least we have two weeks of being sunburnt when it's cold here.
Thanks so much Tony.
Cheers
Heather and Chris.

Tuarai Nui Studio - Reviewed by Catherine from Australia in April 2012. This property is fully furnished and it has everything you need (and probably more). My favourite thing about this property is how private it was, you won't run into other tourists unless you want to . It's a beachfront property and is also located within walking distance to to a bar, convenience stores and public transport. The beach out the front door has some of the best snorkelling on the island and the water stays calm regardless of the weather conditions. The beach out front is so beautiful that we chose to get married on it! The manager for this property will leave you to yourself but he is very helpful with any information you need and will arrange your airport transfers for you. The studio unit is very comfortable for two people - it has a kitchen, bathroom, sleeping area and dining area, plus an outdoor patio area with table and chairs. You can also dry your washing on the undercover back patio. The grounds around the unit are beautifully kept and there's plenty of room for your hire car or scooters. We found that other tourists we met were in awe of our accommodation due to it's beachfront location, privacy and value for money. The whole homeforhire process was so simple - you find a property, apply, get accepted (within hours in our case), pay, enjoy your stay and then leave a review. This property made our stay in Rarotonga so perfect and relaxing. Don't miss out on this one! Rating: 5.0

Tuarai Nui Studio - Reviewed by David from Canada in April 2012. We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday and the people of the Cook Islands are the most hospitable we have yet experienced. The actual setting of the cottage is excellent.
The web info. on Tuarai Nu Studio might provide renters with information on airport transfers since it cost us $40 on our arrival, but only $30 when we departed. The service both ways was excellent.
As an added helpful service, Tony might create a 'Welcome' note listing: Name of a contact person and telephone #; recreactional equipment available and where it is stored; nearest grocery store; boiling drinking water; the helpfulness and hospitality of 'Jim' next door; use of appliances; and food storage to avoid Gecko 'surprises'. Thank you for a wonderful holiday to begin our 50th anniversary year of marriage. Pat & Dave
