Stunning Location
Set on four scenic acres, our cottage is spacious, private, serviced, self-contained or with bed & breakfast options, and ideal for couples, families or a group of friends.
Should you choose not to self-cater, our tempting breakfast, lunch and dinner menus allow you to indulge in delicious home-cooked food, and after a day of exploration, you can unwind with your private deck or garden.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, accommodating from 1 to 5 guests in total. All beds have electric blankets, bedrooms have individual heating and in the bathroom, there is a heated towel rail, hairdryer, towels and guest toiletries to add to your comfort. The kitchen contains a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, kettle & toaster, crockery and cutlery, tea, coffee, sugar and milk is also provided.
Complimentary facilities include barbecue, spa pool, hi-speed wireless internet, internet terminal and drying room for sports or walking equipment. We also have an outdoor fireplace, offer a laundry service and secure locked storage for sports & boats equipment.

Ideal base to explore Wanaka and Queenstown
We are close enough to town to walk in, and yet far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquillity with uninterrupted views of scenic countryside and snowy mountains.
In winter, we are only 20 minutes from the base of the Ski Resorts, and in summer, only minutes away from the endless walks in the Mount Aspiring National Park.
The golf course and restaurants are a short walk away. Award winning wineries are less than a 10 minute drive, and with Queenstown only 1 hour away, it makes an ideal base to explore both Wanaka, Queenstown, Arrowtown and Cromwell.

Activities
We find our guests discover the charm of Wanaka, preferring its lively peace to the hustle and bustle of neighbouring Queenstown. Wanaka is a place of outstanding natural beauty and attracts both Kiwis and international visitors alike. It takes less than an hour to drive from Wanaka to Queenstown via the scenic Cardrona Road, or slightly longer via Cromwell which allows you to incorporate visits to several renowned local vineyards. Being only 1½ hours drive from Haast on the west coast, 3 hours from Te Anau, Lake Tekapo and Mount Cook, and Fox and Franz Joseph Glaciers only 4 hours away, it is a great base for day trips either by land or air. We are ideally located for a week’s skiing being only 15 minutes from Cardrona and less than 30 minutes from Treble Cone, walking through the Mount Aspiring National Park, fishing the local lakes and rivers, playing golf on the picturesque 18 hole course (a 15 minute walk away), horse-trekking over the lowland hills or visiting nearby Queenstown (50 minutes away) and Central Otago’s vineyards and sights.
We have an activity booking centre so all your tours or activities can be booked, either in advance of you arriving, or when you arrive.
