Tolka Cottage horse facilities make it ideal for a holiday with your horse. Located in the centre of the Wilkin Flora and Fauna reserve on the banks of the Glenelg River. There are walking 7 riding trails as well as 4 wd track access through the 3600 hectares of native bush where wildlife abounds.
The Reserve is renowned for it's orchids & spring wildflowers are a beautiful attraction from August to October.

Casterton in 20 minutes away and is home to 3 pubs which serve evening meals, Say Grace which is a quality daytime restauraunt and for a quick bite to eat and take away goodies the local Herberts Bakery fits the bill. Within an hours drive Mt Gambier, Portland, Hamilton,all have a variety of eateries. Penola is a great day trip for galleries and restauraunts.

Tolka Cottage is a short walk to the Glenelg River where you can see Platypus, Kangaroo, wallabies,emus,achidna,koala and over 140 species of birds including endangered Redtailed Black Cockatoo. A wildlife haven located only one hour from Penola/ Coonawarra wine region, Mt Gambier Blue Lakes, Nelson & Portland on the coast and Hamilton/ Grampian Region inland. Enjoy the annual Kelpie Muster in June or walk the Kelpie trail in Casterton.
Explore Bailey's Rocks, Dundas Tableland, Warrock Homestead, Bilston's tree, Hummocks and Dartmoor and return in the evening to the tranquil surrounds of Tolka.
