We have 8 Villas nestled within tropical gardens. Our Villas range from Studio Villa and Garden Villas suitable for up to 2 guests, through to our 1 Bedroom Villas (max 5 guests), and a 2 Bedroom Lagoon View Villa max up to 5 guests. Enjoy our fresh water cool off pool and other great complimentary activities including snorkel gear, reef shoes, kayaks, beach towels.

Nothing was a problem for Roselle and Eric. The rooms were beautifully clean and were thoughtfully appointed to have all you need while on holiday. Some long term building work on insulating the units would (probably) make them cooler, (which would be a good thing).

Perfect for our holiday - couldn't fault home or hosts. Excellent pick up from airport with 'Taxi driver' taking us to our room, giving us a quick tour and making sure we were settled before leaving (all at 1.30am in the morning). Knowledgeable, friendly hosts with helpful honest information about local restuarants, tours and facilities. So good hubby wants to over there permanently!

A great place to stay. It was absolutely immaculate and the location was excellent. Easy to get into town, and a good selection of restaurants and small businesses close by, including some resorts for that all important sundowner drink. The owners were friendly and very helpful, and we would have no hesitation staying there again.

Had a great stay there. Only concern was level of noise from one group of other guests (which the owners tried to sort) and also noise from a neighbouring property which was very close to our unit.

The Cooks Oasis
The Cooks Oasis Holiday Villas are situated in Arorangi, on the sunset side of the island of Rarotonga. We have 8 villas nestled within tropical gardens. Enjoy our fresh water cool off pooland other great complimentary activities.
We are on the western, sunny and sheltered side of the island where you can watch the fantastic sunsets. The Arorangi district is only 15 minutes to the main Township of Avarua and the airport.
Take just 60 steps down the path to the white sand beach (no road to cross!) and clear blue lagoon. Perfect for sunbathing, relaxing, and watching the whales cruise by. For some action try out our kayaks, or go snorkeling and view the tropical fish.
Self- cater or enjoy eating out at one of the restaurants in easy walking distance. Kikau Hut, Alberto's, and The Anchorage restaurant are all great restaurants within a very short walk. The Edgewater Resort, Crown Resort, Manuia Beach restaurant, and Spaghetti house are all within a 2 km walk.
We offer one of the finest accommodation values on Rarotonga. Our secluded mini-resort, with its comfortable and stylish pacific rooms combined with our excellent location on the island and excellent service really are a winning combination.

Great Facilities!
For holiday makers whether long stay or short, we are an excellent choice. Ask about our special long stay rates and group rates. We offer excellent convenience for overnight stays (close but not too close to the airport!). Our proximity to Avarua Township means we are also a great option for business travellers.
We are a great base to enjoy the activities that Rarotonga has to offer. Make the most of the free pick-ups and drop offs just at the end of the drive for countless activities around Rarotonga. Avatiu wharf with its game fishing boats and yachts, and the main township of Avarua are a 15 minute drive, the airport only a 10 minute drive. The 9 hole golf course and tennis courts are only a three minute drive away.

Room descriptions and amenities
All rooms have unique views, from the volcanic hill tops covered by lush tropical, dense forests to the serene gardens within the property. Frangipani, orchid, and hibiscus, are just some of the beautiful flowering Pacific flowers and shrubs. Our 8 villas provide for self-catering to prepare your own meals or otherwise you can eat out. There is a fantastic array of restaurants by close by and plenty to discover all the way around the island.
Our rooms are well appointed, recently renovated and include the following:

Fridge (with freezer compartment or separate freezer space)
Electric jug, toaster, coffee plunger, cooking equipment, well supplied utensils, crockery, and miscellaneous kitchen equipment.
We supply tea, coffee, and sugar to start you off. Salt and pepper provided.
Hair dryer, complimentary toiletries.
Ceiling fans and air-conditioning (ceiling fan only in studio room). Air-conditioning $30 per night if required.
Cot available.
Flat screen TV, DVD player, and clock radio, electronic safe.

Great service!
We pride ourselves on maintaining the rooms to a high standard.
Services are carried out on Tuesdays and Fridays. We are happy to exchange your towels in-between days if required. Full linen changes are carried out twice weekly.
As your kiwi hosts we welcome you and will do whatever we can to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
