Stories to tell
Built in 1887 and renovated in 2009, The Artist’s residence is so called because the furnishings are a combination of individually designed and recycled, remodeled pieces and lots of local artists’ original works feature on the walls of this property. The house has many stories to tell making for a very special stay.

Three luxurious double bedrooms
Each of the three bedrooms has a queen sized bed and built in wardrobing. An additional double bed and an additional single bed can be made available for extra guests. All bedding and crisp, white linen is provided.

Character and charm
The property has wide, polished floorboards and wool rugs throughout the bedrooms, hallway and living room with terracotta tiles through the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and entertaining areas. Ceiling fans, portable air cooler, gas heating and open fires ensure a comfortable temperature all year around.

Free Sunday concerts at the Arts Centre; a historic walk through town; a visit to Fishing Boat harbour or the Maritime Museum; ghost hunting at the Fremantle prison; a visit to the Energy Museum; live music at the Fly or Mojos; dance 'til you drop at Metro - all within walking distance from Hampton House.... Chef's Galley Kitchen
The kitchen has a stove befitting a chef – it’s come out of a restaurant in Perth in the 1960’s and been completely restored to new condition: it’s large with four gas burners and a gas oven; a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and mandatory coffee machine complete the kitchen which is fully equipped with pots and pans, utensils, cutlery and crockery, glassware and tea towels.

A gallery hallway leads to the lounge which features an open fire place. This room is comfortable and inviting and a flat screen tv, dvd and video with surround sound transform this room into a home theatre. 20 dvds and some videos are provided for guests viewing pleasure.
Gas heating, ceiling and standard fans and a portable air conditioner ensure a pleasant temperature all year round.
There is a light and bright office enclave with built in desk. You can operate the outdoor sound system from here, make free local telephone calls or access the internet from your laptop.
