Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Maureen and Rebecca from New Zealand in May 2018. Wonderful home. Spotless on arrival (I'm fussy!). Everything as described. Kitchen well equipped, an abundance of linen.
Highlight for the children was having a coconut picked for them, island style and drinking from it with a straw!
Paw paw from the stall two doors away each morning for breakfast, a bunch of bananas given to us most mornings by the lovely man next door
Close proximity to a fantastic snorkelling beach. Huge tiled living area was wonderful. .
Great communication from Gina before we went.
We will definitely return Rating: 5.0

Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Michelle from New Zealand in June 2016. The small white centre of the middle ceiling fan near the kitchen fell out whilst we were staying. We placed it on the bench. The back door was a little dificult to lock sometimes, but fine other times.
We had a lovely time, very enjoyable place to stay. Would certainly recommend to others.
It would have been good to have known the local telephone number as we had family staying at another house nearby and it would have enabled us to contact them more easily. Rating: 4.8

Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Gaye from New Zealand in July 2016. We had an enjoyable holiday in your home. We have visited Raro many times and this property is one of the best we have stayed in, we plan to return to the house next year. It certainly caters well for a family. To include a safe in the house would be of great benefit, to have to carry valuables, passports etc around is not very convenient for tenants. The gas bottle for stove hob was empty the first night, Stefan was contacted and a new bottle was delivered the next day. The second to last night of our stay BQ bottle ran out. We also called Stefan when the shower lost pressure and no hot water he responded immediately. The instructions make mention of cleaning two filters especially after rain and this is also incorrect as you only need to clean out the smaller filter as the other two have no filters and could be broken if someone forced them open. We found Stefan a great reliable property manager. Instructions to the beach could be amended as the Private Property owner of the two storied house right on the beach told us not walk on her property. This was sorted out quickly and amicably as we turned off the drive before her house and the owners of that property invited us to walk along their hedge line. Thank you for providing us with great holiday accommodation. We will certainly be recommending the property to any of our friends travelling to Rarotonga. Rating: 5.0

Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Sarah from New Zealand in July 2015. Only difficulty was contacting the man looking after the house by phone. He was really quick to fix problems when we saw him. A bit of difficulty finding the beach access, a few more instructions would be useful. Also a few more instructions about what to do with linen and cleaning for end of stay would ensure we left everything correctly. Loved our stay though, thanks heap.

Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Michelle from New Zealand in October 2013. Fabulous accommodation & all as expected. DVD player was broken though, and so unavailable for the entertainment of 2 two year olds (& sanity of parents!)... Manager visited shortly after arrival to ensure all was well & sorted any issues promptly, & lovely to deal with. Loved being out of the 'hustle & bustle' (island time version) of the main town and a short venture from the best snorkeling & swimming beaches! Would fully recommend for ease of access to the island - buses coming past every half hour - and using the house facilities especially with a family :) Rating: 4.9

This house was great for a family holiday with the nicest beach on the island just a couple of minutes walk. There was no DVD player as advertised but we rang the manager and they very kindly delivered one the next day. No issues, easy and comfortable Rating: 4.8

Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Evan from New Zealand in December 2012. We really enjoyed the modern home. We did find the home to be unclean on arrival and it is our opinion the people the hired prior to us did not clean well. We had some trouble cleaning the home as we departed at 4am in the morning. We wish we could have hired a cleaner to make the home 100% clean. The house location just back from the road made it very quiet and it was a very short walk across the road to the sea for some of the best snorkeling on the island.
Nice big house that was well equiped with great indoor outdoor flow with fruit trees on the property and fans in every room. It would have been more comfortable with insect screens on the windows.
Overall an excellent place to stay for friends or family. Rating: 4.1

Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Paul from New Zealand in August 2012. Great property for large family. We were 3 couples, a single & 7month baby. Nice huge bathroom with toilet/bath plus separate toilet. Floor tiled throughout so easy clean (but no second chances with dropped crockery!). Small issue with poor waterpressure, but filters renewed straight away.
40 meters from main road, so little traffic noise, but needed to ask around to locate access to beach (gorgeous & great snorkelling). Small Store with basics 100m away plus fresh veg/fruit stalls easy walk
Highly recommend and contact Gina very helpful and obliging. Would definitely return. Rating: 4.8

Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Yvette from New Zealand in August 2010. The location of Teariki's House was superb – away from the resorts and just across the road from what was undoubtedly by the best beach for swimming and snorkelling in Rarotonga. The house was lovely and modern, a great size and well equipped for the group of us staying there. The only feedback we have is that there were a few things (such as the small fridge) that hadn't really been cleaned when we arrived and we couldn't get the dvd player to work properly. That said, we would definitely consider Teariki's again on our next trip to Rarotonga. Rating: 4.5

Teariki's Home - Reviewed by Rod from New Zealand in August 2010. Fantastic home for a family holiday. Far enough away from the resorts not to be surrounded and close enough to the beach and local stores for convenience! Would certainly reccommend Teariki's home to anyone who values privacy, security and a home away from home in Rarotonga! Rating: 5.0

Would highly recommend to families or groups of friends wanting great accomodation at a very reasonable price. The home has a huge living and dining area with loads of space indoors and out, with a ceiling or floor standing fans in every room. All the mod-cons available including 2 fridges, freezer, mircowave and washing machine. Close to Muri, Kano local store approx. 100 metres away, Wigmores approx. a 2 minute drive and 5-10 minute drive to half way point of the island.
