As in previous reviews. This beach house has a few quirks but for us it totally added to the place. The concrete pad next door a quiet neighbour. Can't see a lot of building there in the forseable future.Tapi and her family were fabulous. Our friends sprung a wedding on us and Tapi just pitched in ( and she is busy enough!) She helped organised the flowers, dropped over some cd's for music, and not without a lot of energy erected a arch ( a bit of help from me) for our friends to be married under. Can't repay you enough Tapi. You are a gem. Our friends had the wedding of their dreams (simple, hassle free,on the beach, bridal party just 4! plus Tapi and her family and a few other holidaymakers out for a wonder !). We had a lovely holiday. Loved the place, simple, quiet (except for Rogor the rooster- don't worry there are cousins all over the island. Part of island life!), well off the road, airy, right on the beach, great snorkelling just out in front and look for the peice of drift wood and go in a half circle on the left hand side, picked a paw paw off the tree off the verandah each day, bananas. For those of you who don't want the resort type holiday this is a little gem and so reasonably priced. WE will be back. We would have loved home for hire the option to post some photos.

We were very happy with our stay in this beautiful, clean and well equipped home. Tapi was fantastic, very helpful and kind. We were thrilled by the delicious home grown fruits she provided. The property was even better than the website suggested; with snorkeling gear, an outdoor shower and laundry all provided. We will certainly come back in the future and we highly recommend this place!

We found paradise here.... My family & I loved the time that we shared at this home. Nice Cosy beachfront home with all the comforts of being at home and more. I wasn't sure what to expect, but we had everything that we would need... Fruit, Milk, Juice and partially filled cupboards and fridge.... Even Tinfoil and Gladwrap.... The beach is absolutely beautiful and the overall location was amazing... We didn't wanna leave.... Thank you so much for sharing your home with us Tapi, Hope you are enjoying the Lilo airbeds as much as we did....

Our third trip to Rarotonga. Great location at Titikaveka right on an amazing white sandy beach. Excellent for kayaking, snorkeling & swimming. Stayed 12 nights with our family. House very comfortable with everything we required and more. Tapi is a lovely lady. Provided us with fresh fruit and lots of knowledge of Raro culture & traditions. Highly recommend for a family holiday. Did not want to leave. Will be back.

this was a fantastic home and very tidy and comfortable and oh so close to the lagoon! very friendly family whom our daughter adopted the owners extended families children for a week swiming etc in the lagoon..
the house was better than described in the homes for hire ad. everything was as described. owners family live next door so nothing was a problem at all. yes there is a building site next door to this house but no work was undertaken at all for the 10 days we had this house. owners will need to update website info once building work commences.
thank you tapi and family for a great 7th return holiday to rarotonga and for allowing us to use this property-its a fantastic spot for snorkelling, swimming and generally relaxing. highly recommended and perfect for families and couples. we will have no hesitation in using this website again. issues in previous comments around the bbq, tidiness of the home and some utensils etc missing had been resolved by time we arrived. we could not fault this property and trust me we are fussy travellers!

The property was very much as advertised and we had no major problems. The property was clean and tidy. It is close to the beach, and although the trees right in front of the property somewhat obstruct the view, they are a welcome shade to sit under on the beach, and are a valuable natural feature to protect the beach/shoreline. However, there were a number of minor problems - no bread knife or bread board, also no fruit knives nor any can opener. Also the shower hose is just about on its last legs and needs replacing. The toilet was noisy, we were assured this would be attended to, though it wasn't during our stay.. The canoes/loungers that one can see in one photo are for those renting another property. The barbecue was very dirty, we are vegetarians, so it didn't matter to us, but it should be seen to. Also the DVD / CD player was broken and wasn't available to nearly our last day. This didn't really matter as we didn't watch any TV or listen to CDs. Seems strange to us that anyone would go to Rarotonga to watch TV in any case. One thing the photos don't show is the construction site just two metres from the house to the north. Presently this a large concrete pad, possibly big enough for a space shuttle launch. It's a bit unsightly, but at least doesn't make a noise and you quickly get used to it, the view to the sea is on the south-west side and is fine. However, prospective renters might wish to enquire if construction would be proceeding when they're renting as this could be noisy and intrusive. In addition when it's built it could shade the property and be somewhat constricting - future advertising for the property should show this to be fair to renters. The owner's sister, Teremoana, who looks after things for you, is a delightful and hard working lady, and she will dye you a lovely bedspread and pillow cases, for a very modest amount. It was nice to have her and her family as part of the experience of staying in Rarotonga. A couple of previous renters have noted the cottage to be dirty, this was not our experience.

This is cute little beach house, it has a few little quirks but that just adds to our experience. We really enjoyed our stay here and were very well looked after. It is along a fantastic stretch of beach (that is very safe for swimming and snorkelling for all ages) and has trees to sit under when it gets too hot as well as the deck. There is a concrete construction pad beside the house but it's no big deal. We will defintely stay here again when we return to Rarotonga, we loved it.

We had a fabulous holiday, with the most brilliant stay at this beach house. Tapi the owner was just like a mum, & was always the bright happy smile face we saw at anytime of the day. She is a treasure to have met, & we are saving up for the next holiday. many thanks for her kindness to us with the scary tsunami warning that we experienced, as she rescued us in the early hours of the morning & took us up the hill to her fabulous family... who like Tapi were warm & opened their homes... Great holiday & look forward to the next one..Sharon Moore Tauranga New Zealand.
