Sunset Palms Rarotonga ~ Beach Bungalow - Reviewed by Jeanette from New Zealand in October 2015. A lovely stay...only issue was departure....we asked for a transfer and vehicle on site broke down so they organised for a replacement ride which didn't arrive so accepted a ride from a stranger who had driven past and saw us again on return so stopped & offered a ride...a bit of a panic situation Rating: 4.4
Owners response to this comment: Kia Orana T :-)
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our property, on here. I am definitely going through the list of marks here, to see how we can score them 5's for your next visit and for all our future guest to enjoy. Thank you also for the good/excellent marks here :-) Please accept my apology about the panic situation at the end of your stay regarding transfers back to the airport, I will be looking into this to ensure this never happens again. And as always, if you have any further questions about our property or the Cook Islands, please do not hesitate to email again. Have a lovely day.
Kind Regards
Nootoa Tuivaga

Close by restaurants, Waterline Bar and Grill (highly recommended, owned by Chris and Akisi) The Menu at this spot is well rounded. Two of the three biggest hotels on the island are approximately a five minute drive from our property, "The Edgewater Beach Resort and Spa" and "The Rarotonga Beach Resort and Spa" both restaurants at these resorts have something for everyone on the menu. The local "Island Nights" are held at these resorts on particular nights. Albeto's Steak House is about a 10 minute drive, excellent service and very good food.
