Rivertime Lodge

River time is set in a secluded spot with peaceful river views and surrounded by rugged farm land and native bush. It is located on the Whanganui river Road near to the Whanganui National Park, Rivertime is a perfect retreat for two or will comfortably accommodate a group of five. A special feature is the Atene Skyline walkway only a 4 ks away, this is an 8 hr walk or if you prefer you can just do the 2 hr walk to the look out. For those cycling the Mountain to Sea Cycle Trail, Rivertime is the ideal last night stop before you reach the sea, 40 ks away. You can take the opportunity to have a lesuirely canoe journey or a river jet tour. Which we can arrange for you with the local operators nearby. Your stay can be as relaxing or as action packed as you choose.
