A: Yes, plenty of room.

Q: Is the tap water safe to drink?
A: Yes. The water is from a natural spring and is filtered through an ultraviolet system. There are no chemicals in it. All the taps in the house are filtered through this system.

A: Yes there are neighbours and horses and other farm animals next door.

The house

A modest, comfortable sunny home with two decks one for morning sun and the back deck for the afternoon sun and views to the mountains and bush.

The river.

Wentworth river flows past the property. It is stony bottom and you can here the sounds of the river from the back of the house and deck. Due to the nature of the property no firearms, fireworks, campfires or any type of glass ware is to be used near the stream or on the property. No pets or animals are to be bought on to the property.

Lawns and gardens and family cottage

The lawns around the house and down to the river are for guests use. However the rest of the property is off limits due to hazards and risks of farm equipment and pest control such as rat and possum traps. There are also bee hives in the orchards. The cottage down in the orchard is used by family to come and go for property maintenance.

NEARBY

On the corner of the Wentworth Valley Road is the popular Whangamata Golf Course and there are at least 5 picturesque beaches in the nearby area including the famous Whangamata surf beach only 10 minutes drive away. The Ramarama Riverside Retreat is a perfect place to escape the crowds and unwind in nature's domain but at the same time be within a few minutes drive of Cafes, Restaurants, Harbour, Supermarket and the diverse shopping of trendy Whangamata.
