The Cottage
The Cottage is a two storey, stand-alone building constructed in authentic Tropical Queenslander architectual style and featuring luxury, self-catering accommodation.
Upstairs, The Cottage has an enormous romantic loft bedroom with queen size bed and luxurious ensuite with Roman marble bath and shower.
The downstairs living area has all the comforts and facilties one would expect including comfortable quality furnishings, widescreen LCD TV, DVD, stereo and a gourmet kitchen with microwave and stainless steel appliances.
Venture outside and you have exclusive use of your own heated pool, spa, sundeck and gas BBQ, all set in lush tropical gardens and perfect for outdoor dining. The private first floor sundeck of The Cottage offers glorious sunset views over the mountains of the Great Dividing Range and north to the Daintree Rainforest.
Naturally, The Cottage has private laundry facilities and all linen, towels and beach towels provided. This sumptuous package is completed with air conditioning throughout, ceiling fans, hair dryer, free local phone calls and a dedicated wireless internet connection.

Location
An hours’ travel north from the City of Cairns and Cairns International Airport, Port Douglas Cottage and Lodge nestles in the heart of Port Douglas Village. The Cottage and Lodge are located across the street from the Port Douglas Post Office, three minutes walk to beautiful Four Mile Beach and just fifty metres to the shops, street cafes, boutiques, bars and restaurants of Macrossan Street, the main street. Marina Mirage, the departure point for most of the trips to the Great Barrier Reef and home of even more shops and restaurants, is a short three minute stroll. Being so centrally located, guests at Port Douglas Cottage and Lodge have no need to go to the expense of renting a car unless travelling out of town. All Port Douglas attractions are within easy walking distance.
