Kathy was at the house upon our arrival and had some essentials (milk and water) waiting for us along with some fresh fruit. The house was nice and clean like always. The only thing that she couldn’t sort for us was the weather. We recommend this property to everyone. It is always clean and tidy and location is perfect for children.

Simply wonderful place to stay. Our family were very comfortable for our 7 night holiday. The photos do not do the layout of this property justice. The location of the beach was perfect for our two young girls. We also loved eating out at the Night Market which is only a 5 minute walk away. Excellent value for money. Thank you Cathy, we will be back.

Cathy and her brother were awesome hosts. They were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful especially on places to see and good places to eat. The house was so close to the beach and we had access to their kayaks which was awesome.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this accomodation to anybody.

We love this location, and would happily come back here to stay. We're a big family on a small budget, and staying here makes us feel like kings - especially because of the gorgeous beach within easy access. The house is comfortable, with plenty of room to accommodate us all, Cathy and Paul are great hosts - very friendly and helpful people. Its a short walk along the beach or up the road to Muri or the night markets. Thank you so much for hosting us Cathy, we have all had a wonderful holiday.

Perfectly located and equipped property for a family group. We were greeted on arrival by Cathy who also regularly delivered fresh fruit throughout our stay. We are regular visitors to beautiful Rarotonga and would rate this as the Best Value property we have rented and would readily rent again. We were in Raro for a family wedding and other family members who visited were also very impressed with this property.

A great house for a family or small group with good facilities and just a 20-30 mitres walk to the Muri beach. We loved the place and our holiday was enhanced by Cathy the owner. Only one complaint and that was the bed in the main bedroom was very hard and could do with an extra topper mattress. But even that didn't distract from the totally relaxing holiday had by all! We have stayed in resorts and other rental properties on the island in the past and we will definitely rebook Poreo Place on our next visit.

Wonderful dwelling which more that met our needs and in terms of location and amenities exceeded our expectations. From the TV that had USB capability to keep the teenagers occupied while at home, the solar heating boost for the hot water, well kitted kitchen and under cover washing lines. Two high notes - proximity & access to the beach which one could benefit from day & night AND attentive owners/hosts. Wonderful holiday! Great Place to stay, i would definitely recommend staying here to any family or large group. Two bathrooms a huge place for large groups. So close to the beach, swimming, walking distance to lots of great eating spots. The house has everything you need on an island holiday. Will stay here again.

We had the best holiday accommodation at Poreo Holiday Home. Cathy and Paul were amazing - lovely people with great knowledge of local events, very accommodating and a genuine friendly couple. The location of the home is fantastic, set in from the road and practically on the beach. It is within easy walking distance of shops/restaurants/ATM. The accommodation is very roomy. We loved the welcoming bowl of fresh fruit and the vase of fresh flowers.

The property was exactly how we expected it to be. Accommodation was very basic but adequate - fair for price paid. Fantastic position and within easy walk to most things in Muri Beach. Owners were great! helpful and friendly. Couldn't answer the question regarding how problems/issues were handled as we didn't have any but I am confident they would have been dealt with well. Would definitely recommend to a family (especially a larger family) wanting a good holiday.

The property owners were so welcoming, very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay one to remember. The vibe in the place made it feel like a home away from home. The kids loved it and were sad that we were leaving. There is so much to do and given the close proximity to Muri beach, and it is located in the centre of high tourism flow, it was very convenient and close to everything. The night markets, shops, restaurants, bike and car rental outlets were all within walking distance that you didn't even have to go into town. There was even a pharmacy, doctor, bank and souvenir shop within walking distance. We highly rate this place for it's location, warmth and hospitality provided by the owners. One more thing, thank you for all the regular visits to drop off fruits for us to enjoy.

Fantastic location!!! The home is not resort standard by any means but it was more than adequate and provided our family with one of the best holidays we've ever had. Fantastic value for money and the location on the island is amazing. Any criticisms/shortcomings would be picky and easily forgiven. Would recommend.
