Have a tranquil and relaxing break in a private peaceful country environment, with trees, views and native birds. Pinargan studios, gallery/studio, homestead and cottage are situated on the slopes of Mt Pirongia within walking distance to mountain bush walking tracks.

Cottage Ineterior

The Cottage has been built using a lot of natural timbers that have been oiled and waxed giving a very pleasant aroma. The interior colours are bold but soft and homely. The kitchen is well equiped with a wonderful waikato view. the lounge dinning area is large enough for a small family to enjoy. with north facing views of the garden, with native bush beyond. The master bedroom looks onto the garden with a large picture window allowing the morning sun to warm the room. The small room with 2 single beds is cosy and well appointed looking up the mountain. It has a very sunny aspect during the day, and a wood burning fire for cooler weather making a cosy and comfortable dwelling.For those who like to see the day in, beautiful sunrises. The Cottage and surroundings are very Quiet with bird song during the day and sometimes morepork at night. A wonderful retreat.

Surroundings and Places

The small township of Pirongia is rich with history, a great golf course, cafe's, craft shop, gallery and with other activities such as clysdale horses, hiking, bush walking,etc. Hamilton City is only 30 minute drive away and has all the things a large city has to offer. Raglan is our nearest surf beach a 45 minute drive offering beaches, surfing, cafe's gallery's etc.
