No free wifi. Eventually rectified by helpful office staff.
Cannot ever give 5 for value for money as price was not a factor in choosing house. Price for house (upper end) was what it was worth.

washing machine was broken on arrival and was obviously not checked after last guest checkout! New building was in construction next door and we awoke to diggers driving past window to dig new drains!!! Not a nice experience when you are on holiday and we were not told, that this would be happening. But in regards to washing machine repair the managers were very helpful and tried to get it fixed quickly! Kitchen equipment in regards to plates and cups and pots quite sparsely, eg no vege peeler, no cleaning cloth for bath rooms, no scrubbing pad for pots etc.
But we did enjoy our stay and the house is lovely furnished! Great location!

Thank you for your feedback on this lovely property. I am pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay. I do , however apologise that you experienced some inconveniences during your stay. We also were unaware that there would be a digger arriving, and again apologise for this. We have spoken to the company building next door to reiterate that they must not disturb our guests. Thanks also for the feedback on the extra bits and pieces that you would have liked to see in the house. The vege peeler was an oversite and we will get one down there prior to the next guests arriving. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Pembroke Lodge
Pembroke Lodge is a wonderfully appointed homestead in Central Wanaka. It has had a complete renovation during Autumn 2012. The warm, homely rustic ambiance is completed with leather and character hardwood furniture and special little finishing touches.

Pembroke Facilities
Pembroke Lodge is furnished with all new furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. A log burner ensures the lodge is warm and cosy, and additional electric heating is available if required. Internet is available at an additional cost.

The Lodge has 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one bathroom is ensuited)

Pembroke Lodge is only a short 5 minute walk to the Wanaka village centre with its fabulous shops, cafes and restaurants. Wanaka is very much a tourist hotspot and you will find the town amenities of the highest standard

Winter Skiing
Wanaka has 2 international standard ski resorts. Treble Cone and Cardrona are both only 25 minutes from Wanaka. We also have the Ski Park (a purpose built snowboard park) and Ski Farm a crosscountry ski farm. Wanaka is a favourite Australasian destination for skiing and boarding

Wanaka boasts superb trout and salmon fishing especially during the summer months. We can assist with recommending fishing guides for lake, river, or raft fishing. Dryfly season here is exceptionally long and the scenery whilst fishing is outstanding.
