This generous townhouse in exclusive Parnell is extremely well situated. A 5 minute cab ride and you’re in the City with its swag of restaurants, bars and shops or stay local and walk to the nearby Historical Parnell Village with its charming restaurants and shops. The Parnell Saltwater Pools, Judges Bay Beach and Dove Myer Park are on your doorstep with the bustling weekend La Cigale French Markets or the Waterfront only a stroll away .
The little local beach or park is nice for a picnic and the beaches of Mission Bay and Kohimarama are just a short drive down the road.
For retail therapy head to nearby Parnell, Newmarket and High Street in the City or if you’re planning to stay in, in addition to the local dairy, butcher, fruit & vege and pharmacy, another 3 minutes drive and you will find a large 24 hour supermarket, fast food outlets, takeaway food options and a video store.
Vector Arena, Britomart Train Station, the Ferry Terminal, Viaduct Harbour, Events Centre (for the Rugby World Cup) Auckland Museum and Newmarket are all approx 2.5km (5 minutes driving) distance from the house with Mechanics Bay for helicopter and seaplane excursions just down the road.

THE HOME
The house is north facing with lovely landscaped terraces and is casual in nature with lots of French 'country' antique furniture throughout. It has central heating, gas fireplaces and double lockup garaging. The house is a sunny two storey townhouse with the upstairs designed as a 'parents retreat' encompassing an extremely generous master bedroom, gas fire, master bathroom, dressing room and open mezzanine all with views over the nearby leafy park, city skyline and glimpses of the water. Downstairs are the remaining bedrooms, laundry, study, fully equipped kitchen with casual dining and lounge leading onto the attractive landscaped terrace.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOMS & NANNY AREA
The downstairs bedrooms all lead off a hallway and there are two single bedrooms (with a shared bathroom) that open onto the landscaped terrace. There is also a large bedroom designed as nanny quarters which encompasses an ensuite and separate terrace. This room is not separate from the house but was designed with privacy in mind. The room incorporates a small fridge and built in hotplate and sink. There is a separate entrance to this room which can be utilised if required. This room is very generous in size and has a very peaceful outlook and feel to it in keeping with the rest of the property.

LIVING AND KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped and open plan with a casual dining area that has bifold doors that enables the dining area to open onto the landscaped terrace. The lounge is adjacent to the kitchen and is generous in size with a big gas fireplace, Sky TV, DVD, sound system and also opens onto the landscaped terrace. There is free wireless internet at the property.

CHILDREN
Children are welcome at the house and we can provide a list of nanny services that can help with babysitting. There are toys, games, books and stuffed animals in the house suitable for younger children. There is a portable cot with linen and a childs car seat (8-18kg) can be provided upon request. All of these items are free of charge
