OLD BAR - ABOUT THE AREA
Old Bar is the closest beach to Taree, just 16kms and is on the south side of the Farquhar inlet offering long empty beaches great for surfing, fishing, kiteboarding, bush walking and swimming. Old Bar main beach is patrolled in the summer by the local surf club.
Old Bar features a laid back lifestyle, a variety of small shops and a Bi-lo supermarket catering for the local resident population and holidaymakers along with café-style restaurants, take-away food stores and Club Old Bar, an award-winning club that has been awarded Clubs NSW Club of the Year for four years running. There is also a Hardware store, Medical Centre, Chemist, Post office, Hairdressers, Beauticians, Library, Butcher, Newsagent, Bakery, Bottle shop, Ladies wear, Bridal & formal wear & Video shop.
There are many bush tracks for horse riding, mountain biking and walking as an alternative to the ocean. Activities and attractions nearby include fishing-beach or jetty, boat hire, cruises on the magnificent Manning River, bush trails, nature reserves, 42km of uncrowded beaches, National Parks, forest drives, spectacular rural scenery and waterfalls, weekend markets, art and craft, wineries, Ten Pin Bowling, fun parks and more.

The perfect home to spend your next family holiday. This home is light and fresh with a bright & summery feel featuring four bedrooms, two living areas both with TV's, undercover entertaining area featuring wood fire pizza oven & BBQ, single carport & single lock up garage and good size backyard.
The spacious 3-way bathroom acts as an ensuite to the main bedroom which includes a bath carefully positioned under the sun lit window. The large modern kitchen open to the tiled family room has a dishwasher and gas cooktop and features high raked ceilings.
The house also includes a granny flat which leads of the entertaining area which features an extra kitchen which comes in very handy when BBQing and cooking pizzas. There is also a sofa bed to accommodate two extra people. The granny flat also includes an extra shower & toilet.
This central location means you can easily walk to the shops & cafes in the main street or walk down the road to a walkway at the primary school which brings you out midway along Old Bar's main beach. Come and enjoy the lifestyle that the residents of Old Bar enjoy everyday.
