Great property and would highly recommend to others looking for reasonably priced accommodation in Rarotonga.

Facilities
This is a high set beach house with beautiful ocean views. Sunrise, moonrise, and full moon are spectacular. It is set back from the road, so minimal traffic noise.
The beach in front of the house is coral, but there are sandy beaches a short stroll away. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, and balconies overlooking the ocean or to the mountains, depending on your mood. Floors are made from tropical hardwood timber. The house is screened, with security doors upstairs. Downstairs is a fully self contained studio which can be rented along with upstairs, or rented on it's own (see our other listing, Matangi Moana beachside studio).
Wireless internet is available at the house, through Telecom Cook Islands Wi Fi hotspot, with credit available for purchase

Nearby
There is a small shop selling basic necessities 30 metres away, and a 24 hour supermarket and the restaurants of Muri are just 2km down the road. An excellent coffee shop is open mornings only, just 400m down the road. A night market is held every second Thursday just 1km from the house, where local foods are available. A child day care centre is a available Monday to Friday, and evening babysitting can be arranged. A bus stop is only a few meters away.

Activities
During the whale season, humpback whales are occasionally seen from the balcony. Keen fishers can go reef gleaning at low tide, and cast fishing for trevally over the reef. We can also help you arrange such activities as snorkelling, cycling, and bush walking, just ask us for any advice.
A rental car is recommended to make the most of your time on the island, and we have agreed a special rate with a reputable company if you would like us to arrange that for you. We have 2 bicycles and 2 sets of snorkeling gear available for loan (only pay for damage or loss).
