My wife and myself,along with my sixteen year old daughter and adult son had a wonderful stay in this traditional island home . I found it as represented on the internet site. Spacious and roomy. Owners Tia and Geoff were friendly and helpful . I'd return again,without hesitation. The beach was superb,kayaking peaceful.snorkeling marvelous. Bob Cavanaugh Orange County, California July 2012

Location is fabulous, the beach is all to yourself! A BBQ set would be great at the patio (next door has). Screens on windows/doors would be great to keep out the mosquito as well as to enjoy the nice sea breeze.

Beach one of the best on the Island!! Would go back tomorrow - but will have to wait until next year:( Only thing missing was maybe some music. Radio channel not picked up on that side of the island so would suggest you take your own CDs etc. Also if you want to watch TV at night suggest you take some DVDs - otherwise everything as stated on line.

We loved the house and great location right on the beach. The property is spacious and has everything you need for cooking Geoff and Tia are wonderful hosts and we would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to rent a house in Raro. The location (Vaimaanga) can't be beat.

Had some electrical problems that got fixed. Cleaning lady didn't come for a week for some reason, then came every other day. Washing machine doesn't function well. The accommodation is 3-4 star, but the location is 5+ and we were very happy with it

The location could not hae been better. The TV didnot work properly, all fuzzy but not sureif this is normal for Raotonga. Anything we suggested that was not there, certainly was remedied on our suggestion. Just disappointed the BBQ was not in situ on arrival but we did not know you had to ask for it. We loved it and would come again and certainly recommend it to others.

I have been to Rarotonga a few times before and stayed in the resorts but this time we decidedto try something different and it was the best decision we made. The property was absolutely amazing and the service we received was friendly and efficient. My partner and I have now agreed that Rarotonga is our 'easy get away' each year but only if we can stay at Main Islander!!!

The owners are wonderful and very helpful and quick to respond. The house would be better with some screens, but many local houses don't have them. Don't know why. The kitchen could be slightly better stocked but everything was pretty much as described. The locale is perfect and we had a great time.
