Detailed Description

Lunella Beach House is located on Flinders St in quiet Ventnor and is just a short stroll to the local beach. The beach here is full of character with rocky pools and a live reef. The nearest swimming area is just a couple of minutes walk in either direction. The name Lunella comes from a shell that is common to the area.
The home has 3 bedrooms (with a downstairs multi-purpose room available as a 4th if required), 2 living areas, open plan kitchen and dining area, 2 bathrooms, garage and extensive areas of decking upstairs and downstairs. There are water views from the entertaining deck and upstairs living areas. The main living dining and kitchen are upstairs and there is a second living area downstairs that can act as a separate bedroom if required.
The kitchen is well equipped with gas hotplates, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. There are double sliding doors leading out on to a great covered deck area that has a gas bbq and an outdoor setting. Another outdoor setting is available off sliding doors from the lounge area that overlooks the water.
The lounge is very comfortable with a flat screen TV and DVD; there is split system heating and cooling in the upstairs living area.
The main bedroom is upstairs with a walk in wardrobe and an ensuite that acts as a separate toilet / bathroom for upstairs living. The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. All bedrooms have fixed wall electric heating and portable fans are stored in the wardrobes.
There is a toilet and bathroom downstairs as well as the laundry which has a washing machine, iron and ironing board. A clothes dryer and indoor washing line are located in the garage. There is a small outdoor washing line next to an outdoor shower.
The downstairs living area also has a TV and DVD and electric heating. There is a Queen Size sofa bed in this lounge as well as a small 4 seater dining table. 2 full size trundle beds are located under the King single beds in one of the downstairs bedrooms that can be used in this downstairs multipurpose room.
Ventnor is a lovely location and is approx 10 minutes drive to Cowes and the Phillip Island Penguin Parade. It is 4 minutes drive to the nearest surf beach and the Grand Prix track is nearby as well. There are many other places to visit and things to do at the island. A folder is kept at the house for further information.
