Nikki was a very friendly host and I loved her cookies. She welcomed us with a very nice and personal letter plus a bottle of champagne since she knew it was our honeymoon.

Accommodation Details

Kitenga has two luxury queen suites each with an enuite bathroom. Between the two suites the lounge has surround sound home theatre system, DVD and high definition LCD TV. There is Sky TV and a DVD player to enjoy while relaxing on the Italian leather lounge suite.

Kitchen Facilities

The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave oven, induction hob, fridge and dishwasher. You can cook dinner for yourselves or choose one of the number of establishments in the area to enjoy a lovely restaurant meal.

Local Attractions

Only minutes from Clevedon Village and Maraetai, Umupuia and Maraetai beaches, Duder Regional Park, cafes, galleries, vineyards, golf and the home of NZ Polo.

Nearby Attractions

For shopping and theatres, Botany Town Centre, Sylvia Park and Manukau City retail areas are all only 20-30 minutes away.
Auckland city with it's many thing to do and see is only 45 minutes away.

Cultural and Local History

“Kitenga” is a Maori word meaning “views and perceptions” and we hope you will share both during your stay.
The Chamberlin family has been settled in the Clevedon area for 150 years and still farm on Ponui Island which can be seen from Kitenga.
