From the outside it looks like a typical Kiwi bach but the inside tells a different story with modern furnishings, cane lounge suite, 48inch television, a circular dining table and all your necessary appliances. It has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms & can accommodate 6 people.

It would have been great if there were insect screens on the windows so we could have kept the windows open. Also screen doors that could be locked would had been handy we closed the doors at night so nothing could fly in and when we left for the day. The house got very hot when we did this. Overall beautiful home and would stay again.g

Ocean view from your veranda

The focal point of the bach is without a doubt the ocean view from the veranda. The veranda area is made up of a funky white table & chairs furniture set and cane loungers set out against the backdrop of a view that looks straight out to the Pacific ocean. There is also a bar & bbq for your convenience

24 hour store

Located a short 3 minute walk away is the 24 hour Super Brown store which sells groceries, frozen goods, alcohol & snacks. Adjoining the store is Super Brown takeaways which sell burgers, fish & chips & other fast food. The Super Brown burgers are highly recommended. An ATM machine is also located here.

Arai Te Tonga

One of the features of most tours in Rarotonga is a visit to the Arai te Tonga marae. This was the meeting place for the Chiefs from the district & in particular the high chief or ariki Makea. You can either drive there or far better to take a leisurely walk there taking 20 mins. To get there turn left from the house, walk 100m to Super Brown store then turn right & go inland until you reach the back road. Turn left on the back road & walk several hundred meters until you reach a T junction. The marae will be located on your right, recognizable by the placement of rocks in the area.
