Jarrah Bush Forrest is nestled on the edge of the National Forrest , situated amongst the fruit growing orchards exporting to countries around the world. Wake to the singing of Kookaburras in the trees and kangaroos grazing on the nearby football oval in the evenings.

Highlights of your Stay

Golfing at the Araluen International Golf Course. Walk through the most beautiful undulating forrest scenery that you are likely to find anywhere else in the world. Chase that allusive white ball until you find yourself back at the Clubhouse nto stop for a beer, afternoon tea or a lunch or dinner.

Wineries abound throughout the hills . Spend a weekend driving from winetasting cellars and restaurants to a fully cooked meal at Kalamunda's 5 star restaurants in the township. A short drive home to a sound sleep.

HISTORY
Kalamunda, Roleystone and Karragullen all share a wonderful history of timber mills, steam trains and exporting the fine Jarrah timber to some of Englands most prestigious home and government offices of her day.

The Cottage is within a a four minute walk to a well stocked delicatessen, liquor store and pertol station.

LOCATION

The cottage is only 35 minutes from the Perth International AIrport and 30 minutes to the Domestic terminal. 35 minutes to the Perth CBD, 40 minutes to Fremantle and the sea and only 10 minutes to the Araluen International Golf Course. Easy access to the Tonkin and Roe Highways driving through idyllic Jarrah Forrest roads until you come to the top of the hill with a magnificent view across the escarpment to the city. Breathtaking!

We welcome Pets and their owners, but we do have strict conditions so that everyone can enjoy their holiday. Please contact us for details and we are happy to welcome you and your pets.

Comfort whilst staying with us

Jarrah Bush Cottage is an environmemtally friendly home. It is airconditioned througout with piped cooling to all rooms. In winter the house has a passive heating system which pumps warm air down through the roof and a slow combustion fire in the lounge to watch and snuggle into your chairs at night.

The gardens are watered whilst you wash your clothes and shower. The water come from 90 feet down and is pure and fresh as the mountain air.

Bedroom configuration

Main bedroom has a Queen mattress whilst the second bedroom has a double bed mattress and the third bedroom has two singles. ALl with quality sheets and blankets for your comfort.

Electric blankets for winter warmth. A cot and a highchair are available for small for children.
