Location:

Located on the south eastern corner of the island of Rarotonga, Heliconia, is hidden behind gently angled coconut trees on the shores of our turquoise lagoon. Heliconia Beach Bungalow is right on the beach and has its own private access to what is Rarotonga�s best swimming and snorkelling.

A Private Hideaway in Paradise

Heliconia Beach Bungalow is situated on Rarotonga's prettiest beach on the south west corner of the island. It is a private hideaway in a beautiful tropical setting spilling onto a pearl white beach.

Situation:

The Bungalow itself is set back a little from the sand and is surrounded by a lush tropical garden. Situated on a marine reserve the waters of the lagoon are full of life and and is a joy to experience.

Accommodation :

Heliconia Beach Bungalow offers a relaxed beach house feel that one wishes for when on a holiday in the sun. It is spacious comprising 2x Queen bedrooms, a full kitchen and spacious living and dining area including a generous entertaining deck. All this surrounded by lush tropical gardens make this a perfect hideaway for couples or small families.

Extra Services:

On arrangement an in house Gourmet Chef Service can be arranged and served on the deck or beach of the your bungalow for a special experience. As well, we also have available an in house full massage service. This can also be enjoyed on the deck or on the beach entertaining area with just the sounds of the lapping lagoon water to accompany you. We can also assist in your selection of rental bikes and vehicles, deep sea game fishing and scuba diving.

The Beach Bungalow is for all to enjoy, whether you are honeymooners, families or two couples the Bungalow offers all one needs for a tropical beach holiday. Comprising two queen bedrooms with heavenly beds, a large kitchen and dining and lounge area. All this spills out to a large deck that nestles into the tropical garden which looks out to the lagoon and the breaking surf on the reef in the distance.

Activities:

SItuated on a marine reserve and you are able to enjoy a swim at your doorstep in turquoise lagoon waters that have an average temperature of 28C. Swimming and snorkelling can be enjoyed any day on any tide. You can kayak to the reef only 300 metres from the shore and explore the wonders of our resident marine life. Take a walk at sunset and enjoy the colours of what can only be a Cook Island sunset. Take a tour of the island by bus or hire a car or motor cycle and enjoy the local scene it is what makes Rarotonga so special and so different. Some of the extra outside activities that can be easily accessed nearby are: Biking trails, horse riding, walking trails, Game Fishing, sailing, over the reef snorkelling and diving amongst others. Heliconia is also situated close to some of our islands best restaurants and cafe's including our own Garden Cafe in the Maire Nui Botanical Gardens.
