The only thing was we could not get the oven to work, but there was a bbq so all good.

We had the most amazing stay at the Frangipani Villa and family hired the Hibiscus right next door. Great for families travelling together who want to do some self catering. Large sunny decks and great facilities. The location is amazing, just a 1 minute walk to the beach and cafes and small selection of shops are even closer. Villis Burgers was a hit witht he kids as well as the night food market. Such a great location and being just off the main road you are slightly elevated to get a lovely breeze. The owner was lovely to deal with throughout the booking and popped in to say hi during our stay. I would definitely recommend and whilst it's not a brand new property, had everything that we needed and certainly exceeded our expectations of a holiday home. Our families want to return!

NICE PLACE, LOCATION GOOD [DO THE KONA GLASS BOTTOM BOAT] ALSO HAVE A MEAL IN THE SAILING CLUB RESTAURANT, ALSO TE VANA NUI CULTURE SHOW,AND LOTS MORE ALL EASY WALKING DISTANCE.
WE HAD TO GET A CAN OPENER FROM NEXT DOOR,BUT THATS OK AS YOU GET TO MEET THE NEIGHBOURS.
DIDN'T SEE A MOSQUITO BUT HOUSE HAS INSECT SCREENS ALL ROUND SO OK, WE ALSO LIKED ALL THE RAROTONGAN FANS,PICTURES.TRADITIONAL DRUM,KAVA BOWL AND THE PACIFIC FEEL ABOUT THE PLACE. IT ALSO GETS THE BREEZE AS IT'S A POLE HOUSE.
MURI IS GOOD FOR WATCHING SMALL SAIL BOATS, WINDSURFING AND SAFE FOR SWIMMING,IF YOU WANT TO SNORKLE TO SEE FISH, WALK OR GET A RETURN BUS TICKET TO RARATONGA FRUITS OR JUST PAST RARATONGA RESORT, WE SAW LOTS INC BIG PUFFER FISH. WE HIRED A CAR ON TWO SEPARATE DAYS [DOWN ON THE CORNER], WE HAVE LOTS OF PHOTO'S AND HAD A GOOD TIME [THE MOTHER IN-LAWS FIRST TIME SNORKLING---76 YRS OLD] MAYBE SHE, FROM RUSSIA, WILL NOT GET BACK THERE BUT WE WILL, WE LIKE THE LAID BACK LOCALS AND THE CHURCH SINGING. THANKS MI FOR DRIVING US TO CHURCH--WE WALKED BACK,BUT THAT WAS GOOD [LOW TIDE AND SAW THE ELUSIVE COCONUT CRABS] WE WERE THERE 10 DAYS EARLY DECEMBER AND WEATHER GOOD, POT LUCK MAYBE? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frangipani Villa and wouldnt hesitate to come again or recommend it to people. We loved the huge balcony and were outside most of the time even when it rained. Thank you so much for the wonderful holiday.

Mii and Will were excellent hosts. The property was had everything you needed and more. Only a short stroll from Muri Lagoon.

Awesome stay at Frangipani Villa. Willie & Mi'i are lovely welcoming friendly hosts and made our stay on Rarotonga a fantastic experience. Value for money, awesome views, close to your own PRIVATE beach. No 1 valuable point is they had insect screens on all their windows and patio doors which kept mozzies and flies out, but a constant mountain breeze kept the house cool at nights. Highly recommended and hope to be invited back to stay with Mi'i and Willie again. I hope Christina's wedding is all that you hope for.
