Villa description:
Your accommodation is in a spacious, newly built but traditional farm house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a modern, well equipped kitchen.
Under-floor solar heating keeps the finca warm in winter and air-conditioning, eco-windows and walls ensure coolness in the summer.
The living room has a cosy woodburning stove. One load of fire wood included for winter occupancy. The furniture is of high quality rattan with canvas cushions.
The dining area connects with the kitchen. The handmade wooden table seats 6-8 guests and is the centre of life in the Finca.
We provide robes (terry cloth and silk) and slippers for your comfort. If you have forgotten something, please tell our Caretaker.
The house is surrounded by terraces on different levels.
Two levels down is the pool, 13x3.5 m, and heated with the help of a solar coil.

The Finca is located about two kilometres from Agua Amarga, with distant views of the Mediterranean
Agua Amarga is a small, unspoilt, fishing village of just 427 permanent inhabitants deep inside the Cabo de Gata Natural Park.
This region is unique within Andalucia and even within Europe.
The landscape is more closely reminiscent of Arizona than of any other part of the continent, let alone the Iberian peninsula. Such is its dry, desert-like landscape that numerous Westerns have been filmed in the area, as well as parts of Lawrence of Arabia, Dr Zhivago and, more recently, the British film Sexy Beast, with Ben Kingsley.
Guests have endless opportunities to occupy themselves:
Watersports, Riding, Golf, Hiking, even Skiing (2 hours away in the Sierra Nevada Olympic Ski Resort). You can ski in the morning and swim in the Med during the afternoon.
The weather is extremely stable and sunny in this part of Spain and the sea temperature does not fluctuate much from summer to winter, so swimming, fishing and diving are possible all year round. Our pool stays open all year as well.
Guests can walk down the hill to Hipica Aguamarga, a brand new riding establishment with friendly, calm horses and ponies, catering to all abilities. The Hipica organises trekking and rides for our guests on long or short notice. Children can ride adorable little ponies in a fenced in area.
