Accommodation details
Daintree Seascapes Holiday House features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and accommodates up to seven people.
Bedroom 1 has a king bed, bedroom 2 has a queen bed, bedroom 3 has a double bed, and there is one single daybed located in living area. A cot is available and can be made up on request.
There is an upstairs toilet and basin for convenience; and a full bathroom downstairs. There are laundry facilties for handwashing downstairs and undercover parking for 2 vehicles.
Daintree Seascapes holiday house offers a variety of in house activities including TV, DVD, books, games and table tennis. Fishing and snorkelling equipment is also provided.
The Cow Bay area is home to a number of restaurants, cafes and bars and a variety of tour operators including rainforest, boat and fishing trips.
Guests choosing to self cater for their stay should be aware that supermarket facilities are limited. Major supermarkets are located in Port Douglas and Mossman
Guests are advised that mobile phone coverage is very limited and the best spot to pick up a signal in the Cow Bay area is opposite the entrance to Crocodylus Resort. Daintree Seascapes Holiday House does have a landline phone which is free for local calls.
There is no electricity grid in the Daintree area and our solar system at Daintree Seascapes holiday house does not allow for the use appliances with a 3 point plug. Our solar system provides power to fans, overhead and bedside lights, TV and DVD. The refrigerator, hot water and stove are run on LPG gas.
The only water supply comes from rainwater tanks and is potable, but needs to be conserved within moderation .
Please note that no pets are allowed.

How to get to Daintree Seascapes
This ideal DAINTREE ACCOMMODATION is located south of Cape Tribulation, at Cow Bay Beach. Just one hour north of Port Douglas or two hours north of Cairns. Drive north along the Captain Cook Highway, passing through the township of Mossman.
The Mossman Gorge is a great spot for a swim to break up the drive. Head north until you see the signpost for Daintree Ferry, turn right and cross the Daintree River Ferry, keeping your eyes peeled for Crocodiles and Bird life. Continue your drive north, and climb the Alexandra Range to the top where you can stop at the Alexandra Lookout for a magnificent view over the Daintree River Mouth and Snapper Island.
Only about 15 minutes to go now, so head down the other side of the range, taking your time to enjoy the rainforest and little waterfalls along the way. Just after you pass the Cow Bay Pub, turn right down Buchanan Creek Rd towards Cow Bay Beach. Follow this road almost to the end, approximately 3.5 kms, and turn right up Silver Ash Road which is only 100 metres before the beach car park, follow this road for 150 metres and turn left into Kauri Close.
Drive slowly up Kauri Close, as local Cassowaries and their chicks are often sighted along this road. Drive to the 3rd driveway entrance where DAINTREE SEASCAPES is on the left and clearly marked with a sign.
The concrete driveway is moderately steep and best accessed in by driving in low gear.
