Explore a beautiful corner of New Zealand from the comfort of a home
This house is my home and I am only letting it for a few weeks in the winter and in the summer. Two couples would be the ideal, as there are two double bedrooms. The house is not modern, but is recently renovated. The back garden is completely enclosed and private, flat, with a few steps up to the deck and house. It is well insulated and the heat pump heats most of the house very efficiently.

The house is just a five minute walk to the township with its many cafes, cinema, pubs, banks, shops, garages, supermarket, information centre, etc

What's to do in Golden Bay?
Tramp in 2 National Parks, kayak, horse ride, bush walks, beach walks, boating, trout fishing, sea fishing, scalloping, mussel gathering. In February there is a fabulous Mardi Gras festival. Golden Bay has many artists and crafts people to explore.

Most of the house is newly carpeted and freshly painted. The kitchen and dining room have newly polished native timber floors. There is a microwave, fridge/freezer, automatic washing machine, shower (no bath).

Broadband and phone.
There is a normal landline you can use for free for local calls. (tolls will be blocked). There is a broadband connection. Cellphone coverage is good for telecom phones, harder with others.
