Rarotonga:
Black Rock Villas are easy to find: we are near Avarua, Rarotonga’s main town, which is around 3000km NE of Auckland (5000km from Sydney). Rarotonga is in the southern group of the 15 Cook Islands and has around 9000 inhabitants. Up to 100,000 tourists visit Rarotonga every year, staying an average of 10 days.

Adults Only(Unless both Villas are booked by associated groups)Black Rock Villas are very spacious: 8m x 10m with a 3m x 10m verandah. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dishwasher, washing machine, T.V. DVD. All water on site is filtered and U.V. treated. The villas can be made with either a super king, queen, or single beds.

Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, 29" TV, DVD, microwave, safe, telephone, wifi , plus a barbeque and commercial oven in the private garden.

The Pool
The large pool is designed with the serious swimmer in mind: it is 1.6 m deep and 16m long. Children should be supervised at all times. It is a fresh salt water pool and we care for our guests and the environment by using no chlorine.

Location:
Rarotonga is surrounded by a blue shallow lagoon, which varies in it's width around the island. Outside the lagoon, the reef slopes steeply away to the ocean floor.
The interior of the island is dominated by eroded volcanic peaks cloaked in dense vegetation. Sealed and unsealed roads allow access to valleys but the interior of the island remains largely unpopulated due to forbidding terrain and thick jungle.
Black Rock Villa is easy to find: we are near Avarua, Rarotonga's main town in the North Western corner of the island. We are almost next door to Rarotonga's only golf course and have excellent snorkelling straight out from the villas.
This is the sunny side of the island!
There are shops and restaurants including our Restaurant within walking distance as well as places to rent cars the scooters. (the best form of transport when there is no rain!)
