Open dining room & kitchen area with a bar, breakfast nook & conversation area all overlooking the lake.

Our area is one of the most popular in Nova Scotia for Anglers during the fishing season in the Spring - Speckled, Rainbow & sea run Brown Trout, Salmon and Sea Striped Bass are the species most commonly found in our many lakes rivers & steams. Book early to insure your favorite week of the season. For those who prefer not to fish. Hiking, boating and canoeing our area is very popular in the Spring.

Just 25 min.from the house located on Route 7(Marine Drive) Taylor Head Park occupies a rugged wind swept peninsula that juts 6 km into the Atlantic Ocean. The park's hiking trails and walks provide access to a variety of natural habitat, interesting geological features, and wildlife species, secluded white sand beaches and 16 km (10 mi.) of unspoiled coastline. With the occasional sightings of Dolphins Seals or Whales, this is truly a wildlife enthusiasts dream come true. Sorry no hunting in the park. After a long day of hunting or hiking kick back at the lodge and enjoy a campfire or maybe a lobster boil to cap off the day. Nearby, Sheet Harbour is a lovely coastal town offering gas, groceries, restaurants, a hospital, shops, and a liquor store.
