Excellent location, and generally well-equipped property, with spectacular views. The owner lives next door and was usually on hand to assist with any issues or questions. Nelson is a great location for exploring the northern part of the South Island and is a nice town with several good restaurants and coffee shops. The town is a 15-20 minutes walk and there are several nearby walks and paths to explore.
The studio could do with an additional heater as on the rare nights when it was noticeably cold the one existing heater barely provided enough heat. There were occasional problems with the WiFi but the owner was on Getting this fixed. There is a good sized TV, and a DVD player, but the TV channels available were not that interesting. Luckily we both had iPads to watch programmes off the internet.

Quality elevated over the city stay in a tranquil setting
Avocado Apartment is so close to town yet the only sounds to disturb you are the birdsong to wake up to each morning. Sunny with views to the Centre of New Zealand and down the Maitai Valley. A great spot. A hidden gem!
