Esteemed area of current UN Head, Helen Clark, former NZ Prime Minister We are 6.8km from the city centre and 4.8km to Eden Park! Close to bus stop and supermarket and train station within walking distance. Feel comfortable in our well constructed 1950's family home, with native timber floors, good sized kitchen, large fire place and recently installed high grade roof/floor insulation. Large sunny, covered deck, overlooking garden. A large park with playground is across the road and it is a friendly street with lovely neighbours in a happy multi-cultural setting. We are about 20-30 minutes drive from numerous Western/Eastern beaches and fantastic NZ bushwalks and approximately 10-15 minutes drive from tourist attractions such as the Zoo, Auckland Art Gallery and Museum, Sky Tower and Kelly Taltons. Heated swimming pools and good shopping malls 5-10 minutes away. We have the best pie shop in Auckland up the road, fish and chips everywhere, lots of Thai, Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese food in the area, mains $8-15NZD. Enjoy a real home!
