My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Aroa Kainga Bungalows. We stayed for 6 weeks and the bungalow was just what we hoped it would be. Tricia, the owner, was a perfect host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The bungalow was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a self-contained unit for their holiday.

We stayed at Aroakainga for 9 nights. Blissfull! Tricia is knowledgable and friendly but left us to get on with our holiday.
The bungalow is well furnished and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The bed is very comfortable , the shower excellent and outdoor deck superb. Aroa beech is the best on the island. Within walking distance ( 300 metres!!!) , bus stop close too however we hired a scooter just up the road. Wigmores supermarket close by for bits and pieces . We got fresh fruit and veges from the market and took our own meat. Tricia has a passionfruit vine and limes . A special treat! Linen was changed and all provided including towels and beech towels. We seriously cant recommend this sunset side of the island enough. Best swimming and snorkelling beach is just opposite "fruits of Rarotonga", best food, Rickshaw asian fusion in Muri and Tamas Lagoon cruises best fun day out!
Coming home to aroa Kainga each night put the cherry on the top.

this was an exceptional property, way better than a resort we had stayed in the previous year. the owner was brilliant and very friendly and helpful. the property had more than we expected, and bigger than we expected too. we really enjoyed our stay. :)

1. There is no oven, a 2 burner hob, a microwave & a BBQ with a hood on the deck. 2. Roosters & hens, dogs barking, minimal traffic. 3. 36 plus an outside covered deck =38 4. 5-8 mins to catch the bus 5. Completely separate structure.
