The house itself is unusual for the Cook Islands due to its successful merging of Indonesian and Island design. From the long verandah we enter through french doors to the bungalow itself. The inside has been beautifully decorated with traditional Tivaivai (embroided quilts with traditional island motifs), cane furnishings and lots of highly finished wood.
