House

Very spacious house, king bed in bedroom and room for twin bed also, twin bed and queen bed in lounge area. 1.5 bathrooms inside, plus outdoor shower. x 2 fridge freezers, oven, gas hot plates, microwave, large bench areas. formal and casual dining areas. House is fully screened and very secure. Fully self-contained with ample crockery and cutlery. Beach towels and bathroom towels provided.

The Lagoon

Within a few steps you are in the clear turquoise lagoon, with white powder sand. Just meters from the waters edge you enjoy great snorkelling, an abundance of brightly coloured tropical fish. The water level is waist deep at low tide, over your head at full tide., very safe. Rarotonga is surrounded by a coral reef, it is about 500meters to the reef at our house. You hear the constant pounding of the waves on the reef.

Eating

Within walking distance you have access to small convenience stores. Next door there are home cooked pub meals available.Within a 10 min drive you have a well stocked Superette, stocking both imported and locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. It is also possible to buy cheaply fresh fruit and vegetables from small roadside stalls. There are restaurants close by who offer a pick up/drop off service -Vaima and Kikau Hut

Tours and Entertainment

It is possible to organize tours such as a safari tour to see the isalnd, snorkelling and fishing frips, Island nights etc. The tour companies will pick you up at the house.

Getting around

The house is located at a bus stop. The cost is $5 per way adult, $3 child, or a 10 click pass can be purchased at a discount. Rental cars can also be obtained, let's us know if you want a referral for a car or scooter

Water and adventure activities

Within 500 meters there is a wonderful Adventure Hire Business where you can arrange tours or hire kayaks, dive gear etc. They also do cross island and other tramping tours. Their website is:
