Beach front location. Fantastic snorkelling & swimming. Great sunsets.
Very spacious beach front house, well appointed, fully self contained plus linen & towels. Light clean every 4 to 5 days with linen change. Facing west to capture fabulous sunsets, all tide swimming & snorkelling, lovely white sandy beach. On the sheltered lee side of the Island.. Level lawn to sand and lagoon, outside shower in garden On bus stop with convenience stores within walking distance.

House

Very spacious house, king bed in bedroom and room for twin bed also, twin bed and queen bed in lounge area. 1.5 bathrooms inside, plus outdoor shower. x 2 fridge freezers, oven, gas hot plates, microwave, large bench areas. formal and casual dining areas. House is fully screened and very secure. Fully self-contained with ample crockery and cutlery. Beach towels and bathroom towels provided. House is cleaned every 4 to 5 days by owners, with linen change at this point.

The Lagoon

Within a few steps you are in the clear turquoise lagoon, with white powder sand. Just meters from the waters edge you enjoy great snorkelling, an abundance of brightly coloured tropical fish. The water level is waist deep at low tide, over your head at full tide., very safe. Rarotonga is surrounded by a coral reef, it is about 500meters to the reef at our house. You hear the constant pounding of the waves on the reef.

Eating

Within walking distance you have access to small convenience stores. Within a 10 min drive you have a well stocked Superette, stocking both imported and locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. It is also possible to buy cheaply fresh fruit and vegetables from small roadside stalls. Next door to the house there is prepared food available or restaurants close by.

Tours and Entertainment

It is possible to organize tours such as a safari tour to see the isalnd, snorkelling and fishing frips, Island nights etc. The tour companies will pick you up at the house.

Getting around

The house is located at a bus stop. The cost is $4 per way or a 10 click pass can be purchased for $25nz. Rental cars can also be obtained, we have a special deal with Budget Rentacars for an econ. vehicle for $40nz a day for a min. hire of 4 days (usually $59 p.d.) Scooters are also available for around $20 p.d.
